Remove the bottom cable inlet plates on UPS 1 and UPS 2 2. Run the two Pbus cables to the slots on the left side of the enclosure and down the inside panel 3. From the lowest slot, fish out the cables from the side panel, run the cable down through the cable inlet and through the round hole in the bottom 4. Run the Pbus cables to UPS 2 and use the reverse of steps 2 and 3 5. Run the Abus cable (from MBP) the same way as in step 4 (bottom to top) 6. Re-attach the cable inlet covers 7. MGE UPS’s use a legacy SNMP card that only communicates the MGE protocol, thus resulting in the following: ●No Mass Configuration for MGE UPS Systems ●No Mass Firmware updates for MGE UPS Systems ●Alarming for MGE UPS Systems limited to “critical alarms” ●Remote Monitoring Support for MGE UPS Systems is only available through a direct connection to the devices (not using ISX Central as a “Gateway”) The roadmap moving forward is for all new MGE products, to be designed with an APC Management Card and communicate on a common protocol APC by Schneider Electric – David Derambakhsh – 5/15/2009
