PITE 3980 is specially designed for discharge experiment, capacity
test, battery maintenance, engineering examination and other tests for
DC power with load. By using wireless communication of latest

of discharge.

Why battery discharger?
Batteries in power utilities, telecom or any other backup power system must provide the equipments they serve with timely
and sufficient power in the case of power failure. However, due to different reasons, the battery capacities could drop
dramatically before they meet their expectation for power backup. Costs could be tremendous once the standby batteries
fail to work perfectly in the critical moment. Therefore, it becomes significant to check the batteries capacity in a regular
basis. And the only reliable way to measure the battery capacity is to carry out a discharge test which is a must-to-do job
also to extend the life span of standby batteries. It is recommended by IEEE 1186-1996 for battery maintenance too.
PITE 3980 series battery discharge monitors feature unique design and excellent performance that will facilitate your work
for battery maintenance. It covers different types of batteries for a wide range of discharging like 24V, 48V, 110V, 220V and
380V. Discharging values of each cell could be viewed on the LCD display and computer simultaneously by using the
analyzing software.
