A MORE ROBUST DESIGN IS REQUIRED TO
MEET HIGHER CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Products with higher level of certification
need a more complex design. They are
required to pass more rigorous testing to
meet the standards required for use in more
demanding applications.
• PC boards are designed with additional
space between copper traces, multiple
layers, and thicker insulation to prevent
arcing and sparking.
• Temperature build up is a critical factor
to prevent thermal ignition. SolaHD uses
state of the art technology, efficient
components and exotic materials to
control losses.
• Relays are electromagnetic switches
which by nature create arcs therefore
these must be encapsulated and tested
to ensure they will not ignite hazardous
vapors.
