Description
The WSQ Certificate in Process Technology (Engineering Services)
is a certificate specially designed for individual technicians or
operators who are keen to improve on their operational performance
at work. Participants will be able to work as a team in a Process Plant
environment, applying safe working procedures and practices in
accordance to an issued permit, and operating hand held air and power
tools, as well as performing basic maintenance of rotating equipment.
They also will have the knowledge to initiate, relay and respond to
information in the Plant/Worksite and respond to emergency situations,
verifying that work is done in accordance with an issued permit.

Description
The WSQ Higher Certificate in Process Technology (Engineering Services)
is a Higher certificate programme specially designed for workers in the
field of QA/QC inspection. At the end of the course, participants will be
able to perform and implement quality control and assurance, perform
visual welding inspection, perform advanced dimensional measurement,
select, use and review non-destructive testing and prepare quality
technical documents and reports. They will also acquire the knowledge
and skills to interpret process and instrumentation drawings and
symbols, prepare an inspection test plan and supervise the organisation’s
quality procedures.

The WSQ Advanced Certificate in Process Technology (Plant Equipment
Maintenance) is an Advanced certificate programme specially designed
for technicians and engineers in the field of process automation and
control. At the end of the course, participants will be able to perform work
activities related to the design, operation, installation and maintenance of
systems such as automation, control, measurement and instrumentation,
monitoring, industrial network and communication and PLCs. The course
is also suitable for people who intend to make a conversion to these
