GRADE POINT AVERAGE (GPA)
How to calculate
Two grade point averages are computed and
recorded on report cards and transcripts. The
weighted GPA is computed by dividing the sum of
the weighted grade points and academic
achievement points by the number of credits
attempted. The non-weighted GPA is computed by
dividing the sum of non-weighted grade points (A=5,
B=4, etc.) by the number of credits attempted.
Grades earned in physical education and driver
education do not count in calculating either GPA.
