Elk Grove Village, Illinois – IMEX Global Solutions, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Carlos Barbosa as Vice President Commercial Services & Postal Affairs. As Vice President, Carlos will be responsible for managing relationships with key vendors, suppliers and stakeholders as well as the development of strategic global distribution networks. Carlos will target emerging parcel regions by expanding and optimizing IMEX’s international parcel service offerings. Additionally, Carlos will maintain full oversight of United States Postal Service and foreign postal service partnerships. Carlos brings over 15 years’ experience from the international consolidation and logistics industry. Prior to joining IMEX Global Solutions, Carlos served as Global Director of Distribution for Spring Global Mail where he developed, implemented and managed the global distribution network. Previously, Carlos was the Director of Commercial for Spring, USA. In that role, Carlos optimized Spring’s USA worldwide mail routing/distribution matrix, while maintaining and monitoring the highest level of service quality. Carlos began his career in the international mailing industry in 1996 with TNT USA. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Miami and Bachelors of Science in Industry Technology from Pontificia Universidad.
