Dr. Yang Wang received the Ph.D. degree from Chongqing University, China, in 2009.
From 2009 to 2011, he worked as an assistant professor of the School of Electrical
Engineering, Chongqing University, China. From 2011 to 2012, he worked as a visiting
scholar at University of Connecticut, CT, USA. Feb. 2012 He joined Wayne State
University (WSU) as a Post doctor fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering.
Dr. Wang’s research interests include power system planning and reliability analysis,
voltage stability, new energy integration, as well as environmental protection and
emission reduction. He has authored or coauthored over 12 journal and conference
papers. He is a Member of IEEE, and a member of IEEE Power and Energy Society.
