The project is designed for 6 scales, the extension for further scales is shown by example of two additional scale (commented) in the program. The project is designed for the CPU 315 and Touch Panel TP170B and therefore consists of two parts: - STEP7 software for the SIMATIC CPU 315 - ProTool software for the TP170B. Both parts can be used with other devices: - STEP7 software with all CPUs of series S7-300 and S7-400. - ProTool software can be converted into devices TP/OP/MP 270/370. In addition the message system from the "Getting started" software package is used. In this way the messages from SIWAREX FTA are displayed to the operator. For configuration you need the basic equipment additionally - the configuration package SIWAREX FTA for SIMATIC S7 (order number 7MH4900-2AK01). This configuration package consists of the following: - SIWATOOL FTA commissioning program for Windows - Set-up for the installation of the module in the SIMATIC Manager hardware catalog - Standard software for operating the SIWAREX FTA in SIMATIC S7 - Device manuals in several languages - Set-up for PCS7 Library (configuration package for PCS7 only) - SIWAREX FTA OCX – AddOn for ProTool for configuration of the calibration display (TP/OP/MP 170B/270/370) The system requirements for using SIWAREX MULTIFIIL: SIWAREX FTA - SIMATIC STEP7 Version 5.2 and higher - ProTool Version 6.0 and higher 2-2 Product OVERVIEW 3 Product Overview 3.1 General SIWAREX FTA (Flexible Technology, Automatic Weighing Instrument) is a versatile and flexible weighing module which can be utilized wherever a scale should fulfil its tasks automatically. Automatic scale operation is characterized by an weighing procedure performed automatically according to a defined plan. The SIWAREX MULTIFILL software supports parallel operation (bagging, filling, loading) of several scales (up to 16) in one automation system. All the scales can be operated by one operator with a control unit SIMATIC HMI e.g. TP170B. The software is open and extensively commented so that the user can change, extend and easily adapt the software to customers' wishes. SIWAREX MULTISCALE software is provided for operation in batching plants or mixers. 3.2 Benefits SIWAREX MULTIFILL is characterized by a few clear advantages: 3.3 o can be used for 2 to 16 scales o can be used for autarchic or networked scales o open and prepared for project-specific extensions Application Range SIWAREX MULTIFILL is the optimum solution wherever direct integration of the weighing technology in the automation systems brings advantages. The weighing is then a part of complex processes which are controlled by the automation system. Calibratable weighing plants such as bagging plants, loading stations, rotopackers can be set up at low cost with SIWAREX FTA and SIWAREX MULTIFILL software. Typical application ranges: o simultaneous filling of liquids at several points o simultaneous bagging at several points in the packing plant o simultaneous material loading at several loading stations SIWAREX FTA 3-3 Fig. 3-1 3.4 Typical configuration for SIWAREX MULTIFILL Structure The project is made up of two parts: - STEP7 software for the SIMATIC CPU - ProTool project (integrated in SIMATIC Manager) Additionally the message system from the "Getting started" software package is used. In this way the messages from SIWAREX FTA are displayed to the operator. In this message system (FB1, FC1) the messages are generated on the basis of ALARM S. Of course the customer can replace the message system with his own message system. 3.5 Function The control of the weighing procedure is completely run from the weighing module as if in separately constructed weighing electronics. The integration in SIMATIC enables the progress of the weighing procedure to be influenced directly from the PLC program however. In this way you get a useful job distribution: the very fast weighing functions are implemented in the SIWAREX module, the locks and signal links in the PLC. SIWAREX MULTIFILL takes over the jobs of a standardized routine in the SIMATIC S7. In SIWAREX MULTIFILL the calls of the scale involved are 3-4 SIWAREX FTA Product OVERVIEW coordinated, the commands and setting values transferred to the scale according to the process progress and the scale data are processed for visualization. Fig. 3-2 Program structure STEP7 for SIWAREX MULTIFILL SIWAREX FTA 3-5 3.6 Commissioning- and Service with SIWATOOL FTA SIWATOOL FTA is part of the scope of delivery of the configuration package SIWAREX FTA for SIMATIC S7 (order number 7MH4900-2AK01). To perform commissioning, the program must be installed on a PC first. The PC and SIWAREX FTA are connected by the cable provided as an accessory. Since SIWAREX MULTIFILL cannot set all the parameters of the SIWAREX FTA initial commissioning of the scale is done with a PC and the SIWATOOL FTA program. The adjustment parameters (data record 3) can be changed later with the SIWAREX MULTIFILL program and the scale can be readjusted. The interface parameters (data record 7) can only be defaulted and the optional MMC card only parameterized when commissioning with SIWATOOL FTA. In dosing operation, the setpoint (data record 20) and the scale parameters for every scale can be set individually or for all scales simultaneously. Fig. 3-3 3-6 SIWAREX FTA Initial commissioning with SIWATOOL FTA Operator INFO 4 Operator Info 4.1 General The description for the operator should describe the operation and monitoring of the weighing installation. The description corresponds to the as-delivered state of the SIWAREX MULTIFILL software. The description of the individual scale parameters and scale functions can be found in the SIWAREX FTA manual and are not explained individually in the display of the individual screens by SIWAREX MULTIFILL. The scope of available screens is shown in this product info. 4.2 Start Screen Fig. 4-1 SIWAREX MULTIFILL Start screen The start screen can be replaced by a customer logo. Extension with an additional two scales is shown as an example in the form of commented program sections. To extend the software to more than 8 scales, both the program calls in the STEP7 program and the screens and variables must be extended accordingly in ProTool. 5.2 Command Manager FC30 The commands of a scale are controlled by the appropriate function FC30. Using function FC30 the commands can be executed on the scale by three different job slots with different priorities. CMD1 has the highest priority, CMD3 the lowest. The Command Manager is called in OB1. The commands are given at different places in the program: - by the operator at OP/TP with priority 2 - by time OB35 with priority 3 Priority 1 is not occupied. Command codes which are to be executed by all scales are written directly from the OP/TP into the job slot CMD2 by every scale. The command is not triggered directly but with the help of the variable "DB_scale_INTERF".bo_scale_CMD With this variable the trigger variable S "DB_scale_INTERF".bo_scale_CMD_ACCEPTED is formed at the beginning of the FC20 which triggers the command codes available on all scales. Fig. 5-3 U "DB_scale_INTERF".bo_scale_CMD // cmd from command button automatic mode S "DB_scale_INTERF".bo_scale_CMD_ACCEPTED R "DB_scale_INTERF".bo_scale_CMD // cmd is accepted // cmd from command button automatic mode Forming the trigger variable for all scales Before calling every scale, it is checked whether the scale is released for automatic operation. In the as-delivered state the variable with which the command was triggered was used for this purpose. Plant-side locks are used here in concrete plants. 5-30 SIWAREX FTA Commands After locking, the FB_SIWA is called individually for every scale. The alarms for the scale are decoded with the FC1 and passed onto the FB1 for alarm generation with ALARM_S. The alarm generation from the package "Getting started" is based on the systematics of the ALARM_S components SFC18 and SFC19. In the scope available here the scale alarms are monitored, the monitoring of the display word IDW of the scale calls with the function block FB_SIWA is not integrated in the "Getting started" package. When using the "Getting Started" package it should be noted that no more alarms can be generated by the system online after removing the display device e.g. TP170B. After reconnecting the TP170B to the system, the SIMATIC-CPU must be restarted in RUN. Of course, the user can delete these program sections and use his own message system. 5.5 Copying Parameters Every scale can be parameterized individually. In addition the parameters of any scale can be used as a master for other scales. The function FC21 copies the parameters of a selected scale into the data blocks of all other scales and sends them to the appropriate scales. CALL FC Fig. 5-5 5-32 21 iSourceDB :="DB_scale_INTERF".i_SCALE_DB_NUMBER iStartDBNR :=21 iEndDBNR :=28 iStartAdrInDB :="DB_scale_INTERF".i_START_ADR_IN_DB iEndAdrInDB :="DB_scale_INTERF".i_END_ADR_IN_DB iCMD_2 :="DB_scale_INTERF".i_CMD2 iRet_Val :=MW16 Copying the Parameters with FC21 SIWAREX FTA Commands 5.6 Configuring with ProTool The software is configured for up to 8 scales. If it is to be extended for up to 16 scales this must be divided into two operating steps. First the STEP7 program has to be extended. Other calls for the following scales are added to the existing calls for 8 scales. According to the existing data blocks, the data blocks must be created from the delivered UDTs for other scales. The numbering of the data blocks is a continuation of the existing numbering scheme for the first 8 scales. The project ProTool must be extended in the second step. The systematic structure of the screens for the first 8 scales must be continued in the extension for further scales. The variables available for 8 scales must be created for further scales. The variables which are multiplexed can be used for further scales from the beginning. The project has been created for TP170B. When converting to TP/OP270 or 370 the saved weight output must be deleted and reconfigured (Screen with calibratable weight output).
