Gulf-Tech Automation houses the first and only officially
certified YASKAWA Service and Repair Center in the Middle
East. Based out of our Dubai Headquarters our YASKAWA
Europe, USA and Japan trained Service Engineers and
Technicians are able to work on all your YASKAWA
related repair, service and maintenance requests (also for
YASKAWA produced OMRON and MAGNETEK VFDs).
This includes all models of the current YASKAWA
1000-series (e.g. A1000, V1000, J1000) as well as the
7-series (e.g F7, G7, E7) and parts of the 5-series (e.g. G5).
Initial inspection and fault detection of defective VFDs
in our Service Center is free of charge. We will create a
detailed repair and service plan for your VFD after which
you can decide, without any risk or obligation, for the
most economical solution. Highest standard and latest
technology analysis and repair equipment in the workshop
ensure quick rectification of faults. For specific cases
we also do on-site repair at your facilities. All works are
conducted according to highest YASKAWA standards.
To ensure maximum life time of your YASKAWA product
please also consult the maintenance part of your
YASKAWA handbook / manual (contact us if you do not
have it anymore – we will send you a digital version of it).
We can conduct all necessary maintenance work on-site or
in our workshop.
For critical applications we can also prepare a
recommendation for a set of spare parts for you to keep in
stock. You can also forward us your list of YASKAWA VFDs
and we shall keep a stock for you in our workshop.
Further to that Gulf-Tech Automation is authorized to
service and maintain all YASKAWA Medium Voltage VFDs
through its team of Japan and USA-trained engineers.

Our qualified technicians are able to work out PLC and HMI (SCADA) solutions for your specific requirement in
small and medium sized applications. For this purpose we exclusively work with products of our partner VIPA of
Germany which ensure highest performance at a highly competitive pricing.
▶ Replacement and Exchange of other brands and makes
One of Gulf-Tech Automation’s key expertise is the replacement of other brands or makes of e.g. VFDs. Our
technicians are specialized in exchanging other brands or makes through products from our product portfolio.
This replacement includes analysis of your current system with electrical / control diagrams and other
documentation. We can immediately inform you whether we can or cannot do the replacement based on
your technical documentation. In the case of VFD replacements we also transfer all parameters from the old
VFD to your new YASKAWA Inverter Drive. In the past we successfully exchanged VFDs from the brands ABB,
SIEMENS, Omron, Magnetek, Danfoss, Emerson, KEB, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Panasonic, Vacon, TECO, Invertek,
Delta, Allen-Bradley / Rockwell, Lenze, Eaton and many more through YASKAWA VFDs. In the case of encoders
we successfully replaced e.g. HEIDENHAIN, Lika and others through HOHNER encoders. When switching to GulfTech Automation you receive local support (with local warranty) and quick delivery times based on our local
stock in the Middle East.
▶ Gulf-Tech Automation Academy Technical Trainings
Gulf-Tech Automation regularly conducts technical training sessions on its product and service portfolio. Those
training sessions can be done according to the individual requirements of the customer. The curriculum is highly
customized towards the individual topics of interest in you company. Trainings are important to ensure that
involved technicians and engineers can interact with the equipment in a confident way, ensuring highest
operational safety, less down-times and breakdowns through quick fault rectification. Hence, payback periods for
trainings are very short. Our interactive trainings are based on an active involvement of all participants. Questions
and individual Case Studies are highly encouraged to ensure maximum learning outcome for all participants.
This learning outcome is further maximized through immediate practical application of learnt theory on our
exclusive demo units which resemble a full miniature working system. After completion of the training an official
Gulf-Tech Automation Training Certificate will be handed out to the participants. In the past we had for example
the pleasure to conduct YASKAWA-based training sessions for companies like Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL) or Abu
