Performance Requirements
A. All lighting products as herein after specified shall be a standard product of the manufacturer, and shall consist of
components that will be readily available for future replacement for period of (5) years.
B. Provide all lighting fixtures as shown complete with all hardware necessary to install fixtures.
C. All external fasteners shall be stainless steel.
D. Fasteners shall be manufactured of non-magnetic stainless steel.
E. Luminaire shall be free of light leaks.
F. Luminaire suitable for use in ambient temperatures of:
1. Standard driver, or optional DM, DML, and DMD Drivers - maximum of 35°C (95°F) & minimum of -20°C (-4°F)
2. DC2, DC3, DCE, and DC5 (Lutron) Drivers - maximum of 35°C (95°F) & minimum of 0°C (32°F)
G. LED package shall be designed around the lumen maintenance of 88.2% at 60,000 hours and is to be expected to
achieve L85 >60,000 hrs.
H. All wiring shall be adequate for LEDs, Driver, and Voltage requirements.
1.05
Quality Assurance
A. Manufacturer Qualifications:
1. Minimum 30 years’ experience in the manufacturing of interior luminaires.
2. Provide reference list of at least ten major transportation authorities, municipalities, universities, or other high-use
public environments currently using site products fabricated by the manufacturer.

Installer Qualifications: minimum of 5 years’ experience assembling and installing luminaires.
All fixtures and electrical components shall be new, of good quality, and be approved by and bear a NRTL Label
(e.g. CSA, UL).
All fixtures shall meet all required national codes and regulations.
1.06
Delivery, Storage, and Handling
A. Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.
B. Store components off the ground in a dry covered area, protected from adverse weather conditions.
1.07
Warranty
A. 5 Year Limited LED Luminaire Warranty - Selux offers a 5 Year Limited LED Warranty to the original purchaser that
the Kju Circle’s LED assembly shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for up to five (5) years from
date of shipment. This limited warranty covers the LED driver and LED light engine when installed and operated
according to Selux instructions. For details and exclusions, see “Selux Terms and Condition of Sale.”

A. Housing is made from low copper die cast aluminum.
B. The finished form is Ø11 9/16” (293mm) x 2 5/8” (67mm) high that will support multiple mounting options.

Light Engine
A. High efficacy LED light engine equipped with brand-name LEDs
1. All Driver are Class 2 high efficiency with the following PFC:
1) 0-10V & DALI Dimming Drivers (PFC >0.95).
2) Optional Lutron Dimming Drivers (PFC>0.90).
B. Direct Light Module
1. 1A70 – up to 2130 lumens, 22.5W
2. 1A55 – up to 1674 lumens, 17.7W
3. 1A40 – up to 1216 lumens, 12.9W
C. Direct/Indirect Light Module

A. CCT packages shall be available in 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K. CCT tolerances are to be kept within a 3-step
MacAdam ellipse and are to maintain a minimum CRI of 80.

Shielding
A. Shielding shall be (LI) Clear PMMA lens with LED optimized diffuser.
2.06
Mountings
A. F (Surface Mount)
1. (4) Clearance holes for ¼” mounting hardware.
2. Mounting hardware is to be supplied and installed to code by others.
B. RS (Rigid Stem)
1. 48” maximum, 5/8” steel stem to suspend the luminaire from top of the housing to the ceiling
2. Rigid Stem cannot be cut in field.
3. 1/4” deep x 5” Ø white powder coated canopy cover shall be supplied. Canopy(s) intended to cover a standard
J-box.
4. Feed wires through stem are to be supplied by others.
C. C (Cable Mount)
1. (3x) 1/16” Aircraft Cable connects to luminaire back plate with M6 cable grippers.
2. 5” Ø canopy cover with 3 holes and one feed cord strain relief (white).
D. SR (Semi-Recessed)
1. For mounting in ceiling or wall (with proper blocking to code by others).
2. Adjust recessed position so that light module sits on surface or away from surface.
3. Semi-Recessed housing is Ø10 ¾” (273mm), including spring clips.

Finish
A. Interior luminaire finish shall utilize a high quality Polyester Powder Coating
1. WH (White)
a) All luminaires are to be finished in a Tiger Drylac certified facility and undergo a 5 stage intensive
pretreatment process where product is thoroughly cleaned, phosphated, and sealed.
b) Powered coated products shall provide an excellent salt and humidity resistances as well as an ultra
violet resistance for color retention.
c) All products shall be tested in accordance with test specification for coatings from ASTM and PCL.
