Instructions for Zodi Shower Shelter & Privacy Enclosure ©121604 SET-UP 1. Select a clean flat surface away from fires, flammable materials, electrical cords, generators, and any fresh water source. Zodi suggests placing the Shower Shelter at least 100 feet from streams and rivers. ™ 2. Remove Shower Shelter, the (2) fiberglass pole assemblies and optional floor from storage bag. Place floor mat (optional) flat on ground with anchor straps facing up. Assemble each pole by starting at one end, pushing sections together, until forming a straight pole. Lay the Shower Shelter flat on the ground, pull opposite corners of the Shower Shelter away from each other forming a 8 foot by 5 foot mat. The top edge of the Shower Shelter will have the bungee connectors and the bottom edge will have the nylon straps with metal eyelets (grommets). The Shower Shelter will have nylon tabs on the right side edge and left side edge that the poles slide through. There will also be a set of nylon tabs in the middle, facing up toward the sky and also down toward the ground. These nylon tabs make up the 4 corners of the Shower Shelter. 3. With the shower shelter laying flat on the ground, insert (1) pole through the top nylon tab on the left side. Continue feeding pole through nylon tab near left bottom and securely insert pole tip into metal eyelet on nylon strap. Pull the top edge of the fabric tight and attach clip on bungee cord to the D ring on the pole. With a firm grip, carefully take the other end of the pole and bend it around, inserting end into the nylon tab on the RIGHT SIDE of the Shower Shelter. Continue feeding pole (PUSH ONLY - DO NOT PULL) through the nylon tab and guide pole tip through nylon tab near bottom edge securing pole tip in metal eyelet on strap. Pull the top edge of the fabric tight and attach clip on bungee cord to the D ring on the pole. The Shower Shelter is now half assembled and drum tight. DURING ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY DO NOT PULL THE POLE AS IT MAY SEPARATE AT THE METAL CONNECTORS AND SNAP OUT - ALWAYS PUSH THE POLE! Keep others clear while assembling and disassembling Shower Shelter. 4. With the partially assembled shelter laying flat on the ground, guide the second pole UNDER the arc of the first pole and insert the 2nd pole into the center nylon tab on the panel facing the ground. It will be easier to slightly lift fabric at the top edge to feed the pole into the nylon tab. It will be necessary to walk around to secure bottom of 2nd pole through the tab and into the metal grommet on the bottom nylon strap. Pull the top edge of the fabric tight and attach clip on bungee cord to the D ring on the pole. Instructions for Zodi Shower Shelter™ Privacy Enclosure with Optional Detachable Floor IMPORTANT - It is important that the second pole bends across the outside of the arc of the first pole. It is also important to insert the 2nd pole through the nylon tab facing toward the ground first and NOT the panel facing toward the sky. 5. Take the free end of the 2nd pole, bend it in a wide arc so the free end is about 6 feet above the ground directly above the center of the top edge of the Shower Shelter. It is suggested to have a second person lift the remaining top center nylon tab about 6 feet above the ground then carefully insert the pole into top nylon tab. PUSH pole through nylon tab so that the tip of the pole continues to the nylon tab on the bottom edge of the Shower Shelter. Carefully feed pole tip through bottom nylon tab and secure tip into brass eyelet. Pull the top edge of the fabric tight and attach clip on bungee cord to the D ring on the pole. NOTE - DO NOT bend the pole sharper than 6 feet diameter or the pole will break. Poles are not covered under warranty, be careful to not over bend the poles during step 3 - 5. 6. Grab two corners of the Shower Shelter at chest height and lift Shower Shelter slightly in the air allowing the poles to self position and then set Shower Shelter on FLAT AND LEVEL ground. If door is open connect Velcro strips together to secure door in closed position. Pull each footing strap away from Hut to make walls tight. On soft ground, place weighted object like ice chest, large rock, etc, on each footing strap to keep bottom edge of Shower Shelter walls tight and anchored to ground. On hard ground use tent stakes to secure shelter to ground. CAUTION: Elevated stakes can be a tripping hazard. Completely position stakes into ground when securring Shower Shelter or floor mat to ground. Optional Detachable Floor - If using the optional detachable floor, secure the floor to flat ground using 4 tent stakes, then clip the corners of the Shower Shelter securely to the floor and tighten connector straps. To remove shelter from floor compress sides of Side Release Buckles on each anchor strap. SHOWERING 1. Never hang a solar shower or any weight from the fiberglass poles. The system is NOT designed to support anything from the overhead poles. 2. NEVER place the Zodi Hot Tap propane shower heater inside the Shower Shelter. Place Hot Tap OUTSIDE at least 2 feet away from the Shower Shelter. Position shower hose from Hot Tap to go OVER the top edge of the shelter wall, (bringing hose in from bottom may cause kinks and will restrict water flow if accidentally stepped on). Never pull the shower hose so tight that the Hot Tap may tip over. If the Hot Tap does tip over, handle it by the propane cylinders ONLY (the housing is HOT and may cause injury) - safely turn off propane gas valve and allow system to cool. Reposition system in a secure position before proceeding. Read and follow Hot Tap directions at all times. See Instant Hot Tap Showers now at www.zodi.com 3. When using the Zodi Hot Tap propane hot shower NEVER restrict water flow. In areas where water is rationed, place shower head in separate bucket during “soap up” periods. 4. When using a Zodi Hot Tap always keep pump entirely submerged in water at all times. 5. For hands free showering, attach the shower head from the Zodi Hot Tap instant propane hot shower system to one of the fiberglass poles near the bungee cords. Ensure the fit does not kink or restrict water flow. The Shower Shelter is also designed to be used with the Zodi Shower Pole which allows Hands Free Showering. See now at www.zodi.com pat. pend 6. Always anchor the Shower Shelter to level ground. Never use the Shower Shelter on uneven ground or use shelter without securing to ground. 7. Use the small mesh pockets on the inside of each corner for lightweight items like shampoo, toilet paper, flashlights, face cloth, etc. 8. For night time use, place a flashlight in one of the mesh pockets. Placing the flashlight above you could be hazardous if it were to fall. Never use 120 volt lights or accessories inside Shower Shelter or place enclosure near electrical wires, electrical connections, electrical outlets or near generators. 9. Use Caution when entering and exiting Shower Shelter. Optional detachable floor may be slippery when wet with soap or shampoo - exercise caution. TAKE DOWN 1. Reverse the set up order for take down. Exercise caution when removing poles from nylon tabs - with a firm grip always push pole section through nylon tabs - do not release firm grip on pole until pole is straight without any bend. Store shelter, poles, and floor in carry bag between uses. Make sure shelter and floor are dry before storing in carry bag. 800-589-2849 www.zodi.com ™ Read Directions Before Assembling Follow Directions at all Times 800-589-2849 www.zodi.com Thank You! These directions may refer to options not found on your model. Appearance and color may differ than picture shown on label. NEVER PULL ON A POLE SECTION - with a firm grip ALWAYS “PUSH” POLE into and out of nylon tabs. NO ZIPPERS! You will notice the Shower Shelter does NOT have zippers. Do NOT place near fires, candles or within 2 feet of Zodi Hot Tap hot shower systems. Do not place system near generator or electric cords or outlets. The walls are also elevated off the ground 6“ to keep the system clear of the mud and water during use. BIG The Shower Shelter is BIG BIG BIG! The Shower Shelter is almost 4 feet WIDE!
