Supervision system of power supply and climate systems SCS Win 3.0 Applications: The system SCS Win 3.0 is intended for remote supervision of power supply and climate systems. The system structure enables monitoring of large number of independent sites (power supply and climate systems) located in extensive area. Basic functions of the system SCS Win 3.0: ! automatic reporting in situations when any alarm events appear, ! monitoring of equipment operation states and analog quantities, ! record of power supply and climate system operation in real time, ! statistical analysis of the supervised equipment operation, ! generation of reports concerning operation of the supervised equipment and sites, ! remote control of equipment – optionally, it is possible to disable such functions, ! integration of supervision systems offered by equipment manufacturers, ! operation with other supervision systems – sending data to main supervision systems, collection of data from external systems. SCS Win 3.0 Server – main program responsible for information processing, ! SCS Win 3.0 KD (Data Concentrator) – communication module, ! SCS Win 3.0 CN – Supervisory Centre application. SCS Win 3.0 Server – the purpose of the server is: ! data processing, ! data forwarding to the applications of Supervisory Centres, ! storage of data and archiving, ! operation with other supervision systems. SCS Win 3.0 Data Concentrator (KD) – is responsible for: ! communication with control units, controllers, ! safety at the contact point of the public network (PSTN, GSM) and private network, ! ensuring an appropriate free data flow. SCS Win 3.0 Supervisory Centre (CN) – the purpose of the application is: ! presentation of current and past data representing operation states of the supervised equipment, ! visualization of alarm states of the supervised equipment, ! collection of additional data about the supervised equipment, ! monitoring of work of an operator supervising equipment operation, site 3 site 2 ! ! ! creation of reports on operation of equipment, group of sites and their record in HTML, MS Word, MS Excel format; creation of histograms and statistics of equipment operation, alarm signals, measurements and parameters, analysis of equipment supplying status, time of mains failure, battery back-up etc. System SCS Win 3.0 and DCN System SCS Win 3.0 can be operated with DCN (Data Communication Network) having the ring architecture SDH/E1/G.703. The supervision in this architecture ensures effective use of E1 tracts for supervision of power supply and climate systems, but DCN can also be used for management of other active equipment at telecommunication site. The DCN includes: ! access elements with the supervision control unit, ! edge routers ensuring communication of the ring with Ethernet. Integration of systems The system SCS Win 3.0 enables integration of the equipment coming from different manufacturers into one connected architecture at the site level. The system provides an access to any equipment installed at site by means of one communication line.
