PowerVision: the high-performance general-purpose floodlight for
sports, general areas and facade illumination. This compact unit
distributes a well-controlled, low- glare, wide, medium or narrow
beam, evenly, accurately and efficiently. Excellent results with the
integrally-developed, double-ended, 2000 W metal halide lamp, and
also with standard 1000 W metal halide or high-pressure sodium
lamps. Rugged all-weather construction designed for easy aiming,
simple cleaning and speedy servicing.

Features
• Integrated system of optics, gear and transverse MHN-LA 2000 W
lamp in a single housing, achieving high beam efficiency, and a
well-controlled beam. Also excellent with SON-T or HPI-T
1000 W lamps

With 1000 W models, a connection box is available as an option
H for adapting to the higher ambient temperatures of indoor use.

Installation
Lightweight and compact, easy to carry, mount, aim, connect and relamp (through the hinged rear cover, without disturbing the aiming of
the floodlight). 360° Mounting bracket adjustment with triple aiming
facilities at either side of the housing. Ample vertical and horizontal
adjustment to allow close-grouped arrays. Housing dustproof and
jetproof to IP 55; no internal cleaning required. Maximum ambient
temperature 35 °C outdoor; 40 °C indoor for 1000 W with external
connection-box.

exist alongside residences. While players and spectators enjoy a
game, however, others may want a good night’s sleep uninterrupted
by obtrusive light. To provide safety to players and comfort to
neighbours, floodlighting must prevent light from straying beyond the
boundaries of the sports field.

Innovation that scores big
These flat-glass floodlights project light downward, ensuring a total
cut-off of light above the level of the luminaire. OptiVision design
delivers its highest peak intensity at 60° and an excellent cut-off at
80° in a flat-glass (horizontal) position. Horizontally mounted flatglass floodlights minimize glare and prevent upward light leakage.
Mounted correctly, OptiVision asymmetric floodlights spill the
absolute minimum of light. The difference is tremendous. For a given
amount of light on the field, OptiVision produces three times less
light spill than other asymmetric floodlights. And it issues ten times
less stray light than conventional floodlights.
Output, cooling and compact design mean savings
The OptiVision reflection system delivers a light output ratio (LOR)
that is 20% higher than any other asymmetric floodlight. Compact
optics and oversized cooling fins produce a luminaire that is smaller
than any other comparable 2kW floodlight. Weighing only 16.8 kilos,
this is the lightest weight floodlight on the market, approximately
15% lighter than other floodlights.
Pre-cabled connection box: just add
mains cable
OptiVision’s improved efficiency and compactness make smaller
lighting installations possible. Designs require fewer floodlights and
thinner columns. This significantly lowers initial costs and lessens the
visual impact of the lighting design.
A field of choices
OptiVision offers three different beam characteristics for the
MHN-LA 2kW lamp: narrow, medium and wide, as well as specific
beams for MHN-LA 1kW and SON-T 600W/1000W. The choice of
lamps and reflectors allows total flexibility in sports field and area
lighting design.
