Scheduling Saves Energy Instantly
Porch and yard lighting demand a steady flow of power and
typically use higher wattage circuits that burn over 8 hours
each night. With Honeywell security systems and Leviton
Vizia RF + controls, these lights can be scheduled to operate
normally for a few hours nightly, and then scheduled to dim
for the remainder of the night. That way, there is still lighting
for security, but significantly less energy is consumed.
Another great energy-saving solution is the Vizia RF + timing
function. Lights can be programmed to switch ON and OFF
automatically at a set time, offering homeowners both
convenience and reduced energy usage.
