The AD-FMCJESDADC1-EBZ is an easy-to-use FMC-based rapid development board comprising four
14-bit, 250 MSPS, A/D conversion channels (2x AD9250) and featuring a JESD204B high-speed
serial output interface. The board also features the AD9517-1 for multi-output clock distribution with
sub-picosecond jitter performance, along with an on-chip PLL and VCO. The devices may be clocked
by either an internal clock source (optionally locked to an external reference) or externally supplied
sample clock. From JESD204B (Subclass 1) perspective, it can also showcase the synchronization
across the two ADCs.

The AD-FMCADC2-EBZ is a high-speed data acquisition board featuring the AD9625 single channel
ADC at 2500 MSPS, in a FMC form factor which supports the JESD204B high speed serial interface. A
wideband (500 KHz to 6GHz) input balun converts single-ended analog input to differential signal to
drive the ADC. It provides multiple clocking options for clocking the ADC – (1) Using on-board 2.5GHz,
low noise crystal oscillator routed through wideband transformer to produce differential clocking, (2)
The oscillator can be disconnected and an external single-ended clock routed through transformer
and (3) Applying differential clocking mechanism directly. Additionally, this board is configured to
facilitate using SYNC function contained in the JESD204B interface for synchronizing multiple boards
as required by customer’s prototype design.

The AD-FMCADC3-EBZ is a high speed data acquisition board featuring AD9625 single channel ADC
at 2500 MSPS and the ADA4961 ADA4961 Low Distortion, 3.2 GHz, RF DGA driving the converter.
The FMC form factor supports the JESD204B high speed serial interface. This board meets most of
the FMC specifications in terms of mechanical size, mounting hole locations, and more. This board
is configured to facilitate prototyping and designing the wideband RF signal processing signal chain
with programmable-gain amplifier driving the ADC.

The AD-FMCADC4-EBZ is a high speed 4-channel data acquisition board featuring two AD9680
dual channel ADC at 1000 MSPS and four ADA4961 low distortion, 3.2 GHz, RF DGA driving
each converter. The FMC form factor supports the JESD204B high speed serial interface. The ADFMCADC4-EBZ uses a passive front end designed for very wide bandwidth. A single-ended input is
converted into a differential signaling using 1:2 impedance ratio broadband balun and has a 1.6GHz
bandwidth at -3dB. Each channel amplifier can be adjusted independently in terms of gain. The ADFMCADC4-EBZ includes an on-board 80MHz reference oscillator. This feature can be disconnected
and an external reference can be applied but with proper component changes.

The AD-FMCDAQ2-EBZ module is comprised of the AD9680 dual, 14-bit, 1.0 GSPS, JESD204B ADC,
and the AD9144 quad, 16-bit, 2.8 GSPS, JESD204B Transmit DAC. Hence this board is configured
to facilitate prototyping and designing dual ADC and DAC channels within a wideband RF signal
processing chain. The AD9523-1 14-output, 1GHz low-jitter clock produces differential clocking
for both ADC and DAC. The board also comprises of critical power management components. It is
clocked by an internally generated carrier platform via the FMC connector, comprising a completely
self-contained data acquisition and signal synthesis prototyping platform.

The AD9265 is a 16-bit, 125MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) featuring a wide bandwidth
differential sample-and-hold analog input amplifier supporting a variety of user-selectable input
ranges. This reference design includes a data capture interface and the external DDR-DRAM
interface for sample storage. It allows programming the device and monitoring it’s internal status
registers. The board also provides other options to drive the clock and analog inputs of the ADC.

Based on the AD9467, a 16-Bit, 250MSPS ADC. The AD9467 provides a new level of signal
processing performance for test and measurement instrumentation, defense electronics, and
communications applications where high resolution over a wide bandwidth is needed. The board
also provides multiple options to drive the clock and analog inputs of the ADC. This can be done
by programming the AD9517-4 clock chip and/or setting up the ADL5565 differential amplifier
respectively.

The AD9739A is a 14-bit, 2.5 GSPS high performance RF DAC capable of synthesizing wideband
signals with up to 1.25GHz of bandwidth. This reference design includes a single tone sine generator
(DDS) and allows programming the device and monitoring its internal status registers. It also
programs the ADF4350 clock chip which can generate a 1.6GHz to 2.5GHz clock for the AD9739A
from the on-board 25MHz crystal. An alternate clock path using an ADCLK914 is available for
driving the clock externally.
