Because the CRS-1150 is expected to perform missioncritical tasks in challenging environments, it has been designed to
withstand the demands of in-field use. Cold-rolled steel
construction allows for increased chassis sturdiness and
reliability in-theater, with MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration
testing and MIL-STD-901D shock compliance certified by an
accredited test facility.

above and beyond the average server, the CRS-1150 features
expanded support for extreme temperatures, high altitude, and
exposure to shock and vibration.
Performance to power your needs
The durable 1U form factor of the CRS-1150 provides maximum
performance while requiring minimal space and energy needs.
Inside, you will find up to two Intel® Xeon® 5600 series quadcore processors, 12 DDR3 memory slots, a x16 PCI Express
generation 2 slot, a x8 PCI Express mezzanine slot, and up to
two front-mounted hot-plug 2.5” hard disk drives or
solid state drives.
Also included are six embedded gigabit Ethernet ports, and an
integrated IPMI 2.0 BMC with a dedicated RJ-45 connection.
The result is an uncompromised, remarkably efficient server in a
right-sized package.

The CRS-1150 was built with redundancy in mind. With dual
hot-plug 470W power supplies as well as four redundant
cooling fans, it keeps running when the mission demands
maximum uptime.

The CRS-1150 performs in harsh environments where other
servers fear to tread. The four high-power cooling fans allow
for expanded thermal protection, including an 8 hour excursion
to 122°F (50°C). With resilience to heat and MIL-STD-810G
Altitude testing, this is a server that performs it’s mission reliably
whenever, wherever.
