Sustainable Forests
Xerox recognises its obligation to responsibly source and produce
paper. All of our paper is sourced from Sustainable Forests.
Sustainable Forest Management ensures a balance between the
removal and replacement of trees; that the cultural and legal rights
of indigenous peoples are preserved; and that biodiversity and the
protective function of the forest is preserved.
TCF or Totally Chlorine Free
Totally Chlorine Free means no chlorine or chlorine derivatives have
been used in bleaching the paper pulp.
ECF or Elemental Chlorine Free
Elemental Chlorine Free papers are produced from pulp that has
been bleached with a chlorine derivative such as chlorine dioxide
(ClO2), but without elemental chlorine (Cl).
FSC and PEFC
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international network
that promotes responsible management of the world’s forest. The
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC)
scheme is an independent non-profit, non governmental organisation
promoting sustainably managed forests.

Nordic Swan
The Nordic Swan label ensures that papers are sourced from
sustainable forests and are produced with minimum impact on
the environment.
EU Flower
Products that are produced according to strict ecological and
performance criteria are awarded the Flower logo. Papers with this
logo have been produced with minimum impact on the environment.
Blue Angel
The Blue Angel symbol is found on products and services that are
made and delivered according to strict environmental guidelines.
This certification helps consumers choose products that are sourced
from sustainable forests and produced with minimum impact on
the environment. Paper marked with this logo must contain 100%
recycled paper.
NAPM Recycled Paper Mark (UK Only)
To be given this mark, paper or board must be
manufactured from a minimum of 50%, 75% genuine
recovered fibre, no part of which should contain mill
produced waste.
