presented with many different ideas on how municipalities can
join together to help cut costs. Many of these items are already
being done by the Town of Poughkeepsie. The League of
Women voters mentioned that they will speak with any groups
that may be interested in learning more about what could be
done. Nice job Ladies!

save money for the taxpayers.

Nuisance Parties Local Law

Quite the discussion on the many
problems that the Town is faced with when it comes to parties
being held with large numbers of attendees and the problems
that they create for quality of life for surrounding neighbors.
The town would like to be better able to address these issues
in the future so they are looking into what other towns have
proposed and some legalities on the issue.

Tancredi mentioned the Birthday Party held recently at the Senior Center
for a gentleman who turned 100 years of age, and what a terrific event that
it was.

about water control for Alda Drive.
