High flow, long life and fast opening combine to produce a superior design for dust collector systems. Operation When the pilot valve is opened, air bleeds from the top of the diaphragm through the pilot valve orifice, opening the main valves. When the pilot valve is closed, air is trapped above the main diaphragm closing the valve. Selection of proper pilot valve orifice is important. Light emitting diodes (LED’s) provide visual indication of which pilot valve is being energized as well as “Power On” indication. The number of sequenced steps is adjustable from 2 through 10. Method of Operation Controls are provided to adjust the length of time between valves being energized (Pulse Frequency) and the length of time that the valve is energized (Pulse Duration). Silicon semiconductor components control all timing and logic functions. TRI-POINT PRESSURE SWITCH Switch S-Series pressure switch units incorporate the unique ASCO TRI-POINT alternating fulcrum balance plate to control the operation of one or more electrical snap action switches. The electrical snap action switch together with the adjusting mechanism is a fully tested, self-contained, separate subassembly. Transducer Transducer unit incorporates a diaphragm/piston type pressure sensor, and is also a fully-tested, self-contained, separate subassembly. Operation When pressure is applied to the transducer it is converted into movement of the piston. This piston movement is then used to control the operation of the electrical snap action switch in the switch unit. Features Description ASCO S-Series pressure switches consist of a switch unit and a transducer unit.
