customers around the world. Our software Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3) is the flagship product of the U.S. Army’s Games for
Training program.
The VBS series has evolved over its history into a comprehensive, game-based simulation and training solution, working in
live, virtual and constructive simulations.
History: Founded in 2001; Released its flagship product VBS1 in 2004, VBS2 in 2009 and VBS3 in 2014; Acquired by The Riverside
Company in 2013; Acquired Pittsburgh-based TerraSim Inc. in 2013.

What we offer. Our software VBS3 enables military organizations and commercial defense contractors to train users in
virtual environments that
supports very large geo-typical and geo-specific terrains,
includes thousands of vehicle, weapons and avatar models,
interoperates with a wide range of simulators, and
enhances live training by providing a safe and cost-effective place to learn how to communicate and make decisions
before entering the battlefield.
We allow commercial users who have purchased a VBS Developer Network license to build plug-ins or new applications for
our software for sale. We work collaboratively with third-party software manufacturers and resell products that integrate with
the VBS product line. BISim also provides its customers with professional services such as terrain generation, 3D modeling,
scenario creation, integration with third party products and more. We offer a suite of training courses related to our products,
which are staffed by expert instructors, and we offer highly responsive customer support.
