DDS28u SINGLE PHASE ELECTRONIC PLC METER
1. General
DDS28u single-phase multi-function PLC watt-hour meter is designed as the terminal of
Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system. It can communicate and exchange the data with
concentrator via power line. The meter can freeze the energy in the end of the month so the AMR
system can read the data automatically in meter reading day. The performance of meter complies
with the standard IEC61036 and IEC 62053-21
DDS28u is the multi- function and multi-tariff meter, it has four tariffs and can
measure total active energy consumption in different tariff period. All data and
parameters are stored in non- volatile memory.
Remote control is one of the most important features of DDS28u. AMR system
can cut off the power supply through switch off the relay inside the meter. The meter
can also act as the repeater, i.e. AMR system can read the data in the DDS28u through
maximum 3 levels to the destination, this function improve the reliability of AMR
system a lot.

7. Installation
It requires to be mounted indoor on permanent wall, tighten the 3 screws and well connect the
conducting plate in the terminal block. The connection should be according to the diagram curved in
the terminal cover.
8. Guarantee
18 months in case that the meter is sealed and right operation.
