Already used in power plants, these lightweight units are an ideal substitute to traditional concrete Oil & Gas Power Food & Beverage Manufacturing Metals & Mining units. Chemical Fibergrate Composite Structures Limited are the experts in superior GRP grating & GRP products. Offering unique properties and exceptional resistance to corrosion and environmental forces, the range of GRP products from Fibergrate can revolutionise the way you work; whether you are looking for GRP gratings, panels or trenches. The superior quality of Fibergrate’s products, coupled with high levels of craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensure that all of our in-house fabricated structures are of the highest standard and exceed customer requirements. Chemical Chemical Food & Beverage Manufacturing Fibertrench adjustable width Oil & Gas Power Rail Telecommunications trenching unit (patent application no 1401475.7) comes in three parts (see figure 1); base and two side panels. This allows for the 350mm deep trench unit to be assembled at the desired width, up to a maximum of 1220mm, drastically reducing the space required for both transport and site storage. Manufactured from SMC (Sheet Mould Compound), the new system benefits from all the qualities of lightweight GRP. No bulky transportation, reduces cost Benefits External base flange improves stability Re-bar groove allows for strengthening the vertical for vehicle crossing points Cost Savings Requires less concrete backfill to reduce installation costs. Fibertrench is mechanically produced to reduce cost 04 Fibertrench installation Traditional concrete installation Installation Installation time can be expected to be in the region of one fifth of the time needed for pre-cast concrete installations. The units can be easily cut on site and adapted in-situ to suit specific site conditions or changes. Lightweight The units are considerably lighter than the concrete equivalents. They are easy to handle and manually installed negating the need for heavy lifting equipment, providing a lightweight and maintenance free solution. Strong & Robust Fibertrench is one of the strongest composite service protection systems available in the market place. High load capacity GRP mesh covers provide extra strength for vehicle crossing points. Fibertrench does not break. The units are made from a GRP material that is more durable than concrete. There is no danger of breakage from logistic and stocking processes. Hard Wearing & Extremely Durable Fibertrench is resistant to all forms of effluents including salts, petrol and diesel. The system is non-conductive and non-corrosive. Speed of Reinstatement Fibertrench can be installed, reinstated and immediately trafficked. This saves both time and money. Cost Savings The product is quicker and easier to install with the major benefit that the service area can be opened much faster, so reducing costs. Production Mechanically produced, offering shorter lead times and standardisation of units, it offers consistent quality at a lower cost. 05 Fibergrate Composite Structures Fibertrench Design Services Capability & Support Installation Services Manufacturing Services The World’s Leading Manufacturer of GRP Products Fibergrate Composite Structures Ltd can provide full technical support from concept to final installation of any GRP project.
