COURSE OUTLINE
Space is a premium in growing cities and in the field of interior design it is important to know how
to maximise usage in urban apartments, thus creating intelligent interiors that deal with space
shortage issues in appropriate way and can represent innovative approach to interior design.
This course will guide the participants to understand the correct approach in planning small spaces
and will provide precious tips for creating the illusion of space, whereas this regard increasing the
natural light in a room, creating storage, making a bathroom appear bigger, or any other
consideration an interior designer is likely to encounter when planning a domestic or commercial
interior within a densely populated urban reality that we find ourselves in.
COURSE AIMS
Students will develop their ideas and creativity through practical work and aimed assignments that
tackle the specific topic of small-space planning, in order to understand the correct design
solutions and procedures to be undertaken when designing in reduced spaces.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
It is a practical-approach course, ideal for beginners and those who are already practicing in the
industry and want to broaden their knowledge and perception of interior planning on a specific
topic of designing for small spaces.

COURSE OUTLINE
The short course on trends and styles will give the participants the insight on the latest trends in
contemporary interior design. It will specify the definition of a style through the furnishing of various
interiors, helping participants to improve their aesthetic sense and creating the basic knowledge
needed in order to navigate with confidence in interior décor choices. The participants will learn
how to identify and distinguish between various interior decoration styles and be able to assemble
the furnishing and material directory list in order to apply a particular style to the interior design
project.
COURSE AIMS
This course will challenge participants’ abilities to interpret the world of interiors, their use of
complementary styles, colours, materials and lighting effects - elements that stand as a base for
any interior design project.

Ideal for those with general interest in interior design, as well as those who look for a springboard
for further study/qualifications, or for those thinking of undertaking any residential interior design
projects.

COURSE OUTLINE
This short course aims to give students a basic foundation of pattern manipulation. Students will
study an overview of fit-details and pattern making principles with the main emphasis placed on
dart and volume manipulation. At the end of the course students would have created the pattern
for a slope dress of their own design. (Please note the work dealt with will be strictly women’s wear
covering blouse, skirt and dressmaking).
In the second part of the course the students will learn how to work and use sewing machines
whilst creating the opportunity to understand how garments are assembled and the direct link it
has to pattern making.
COURSE AIMS
Offering students an in-depth understanding of basic pattern making therefore expanding the
possibilities of design by creating an apparel design through two-dimensional fashion pattern
manipulation and creation.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This is a creative, hands-on course for absolute beginners as well as those with some previous
experience. The approach is practical with a combination of lectures and workshops.
WHAT TO BRING
A list of materials and tools will be provided, all participants bring their own material to the classes
(If you are unsure of anything, the tutor will explain this in the first lesson).

COURSE OUTLINE
This course will show you how fashion themes are researched and developed, and encourage you
to immerse yourself in all aspects of fashion - from trend prediction and trade fairs, to color and
catwalks - to get your creativity flow. Lectures, group activities and workshops will help spark your
ideas, and let you push the boundaries of fashion design. The focus is on the latest fashion trends
and the application of the same in the developing a collection.
COURSE AIMS
Our aim is to provide to our students an environment that seems to be not a Fashion School, but
working place as a Design Studio. A unique summer study experience, where young people meet
the passion of be a designer.

COURSE OUTLINE
This short course aims to give students an advanced foundation of pattern manipulation. Students
will study an overview of fit-details and pattern making principles by constructing with the basic
sewing techniques. At the end of the course students will have created the garment for a dress of
their own design. (Please note the work dealt with will be strictly women’s wear).
COURSE AIMS
Offering students an in-depth understanding of basic sewing, the ability to use the technical
knowledge autonomously and the organizational and managerial capacities required in the sewing
laboratory.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Ideally for those who have already started their basic pattern manipulation course. This course is
adapted to people who wish to explore and develop their creative approach.
WHAT TO BRING
A tool list will be provided and participants must supply/bring their own drawing materials, 60 cm
ruler, square ruler, mechanical pencil.
