What is Induction Lighting Technology?

Induction is essentially fluorescent technology that produces light by using magnets on the exterior of fully enclosed lamps, instead of electrodes on the ends of lamps. This extends lamp life to up to 5 times the longevity of HID technology, while reaping approximately 50% energy savings over HID!

For example, a 250W Induction Sign Lighter replaces a 400W HID system while also offering instant restrike, better lumen maintenance, superior light distribution and better light quality compared to HID.

INDUCTION ADVANTAGES OVER HID TECHNOLOGY:

Equivalent light output using approximately 50% less energy.

Up to 100,000 hour rated lamp life, versus 15,000 – 20,000 hours with HID.
