The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is collecting 1 million food items in honor of Pope Francis’s visit to the United States in September. All the food collected at Mother of Christ (and at St. Bernard’s) goes directly to the MOC Food Pantry. We continue to request donations through the entire month of August. ONE FAITH, ONE HOPE, ONE LOVE. As you know, Mother of Christ is participating in the capital campaign of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati designed to build the future of the Catholic Church here. All are asked to pledge a donation over the next five years to support Catholic education, retired priests, the seminary, and outreach to the poor. Plus 20% of every dollar donated comes back to Mother of Christ for our own parish’s use. So far we have received $41,100 in pledges. Thanks to all who have donated. I hope every family will participate in this important campaign. Fr.
