Dallas Harvest Festival
The Dallas Harvest Festival,
traditionally held in mid-September, has been rated the Best
Organized Event in the Back
Mountain. The festival features
a variety of small businesses,
farms, universities and other
amenities found in the Back
Mountain. The event attracts
up to 8,000 visitors to Dallas
Borough’s Main Street.
The festival was not held in
2015 ue to utility work and
borough street-scaping projects. Construction of the Dallas
roundabout that will encompass a five-way intersection
with Main, Church and Lake
streets and Route 415 is slated
to begin in spring 2016 and
take three years to complete.
