ENVEL Light Emitting Diode Panels
ENVEL DESIGN CORPORATION is pleased to introduce new ENVEL LED lighting panels.
These energy efficient, state-of-the-art, and environmentally optimal light sources provide
selective levels of illumination with extremely low clearance conditions. Panel thickness of
under ½” includes a layer of proprietary ENVEL high-efficiency diffuser which provides an
exceptionally even lighting effect. Depending upon panel size, lights are situated on one, two
or four edges to achieve as consistent a light level as possible across panel face.

ENVEL Light Emitting Diode Panels
Please provide LED panel size, color temperature, cord length and cord exit location information
when placing your order using the information provided below. If you don’t find the information
that you are looking for below please call one of our customer service representatives at
(805)-376-8111 and we will be happy to give you further explanation and details.
1. Size

The maximum size available is 48” x 119” and are 10 mm thick. For larger applications, plan
on placing panels side by side.

If requesting a custom shape, a drawing with dimensions is required. Custom shape must
be within overall maximum size available.

Panels can be formed, please call to confirm specifications. Panels cannot be cut in the
field. Holes can be drilled in the field, if care is taken to avoid all electrical components and
holes are drilled no closer than 1” from all edges of the panel.

Each panel will ship with a separate match-cut ENVELITE high efficiency diffuser. If holes
are to be drilled by ENVEL DESIGN, duplicate holes will be drilled into the match-cut
diffuser.

back.
 Panels may be installed as close as 1mm to each other. If the cord is to exit between
adjacent panels, the cord may be set within a notched area.
 Note: Each panel must have a direct connection to the power supply. Do
not wire panels in series.
 Panels are dimmable, with standard components provided by Envel. Please indicate if
you do not need panels to be dimmable.
 The placement and spacing of LEDs will be based on size and shape of panel ordered.
Square and rectangular panels will have LEDs along 1 to 4 sides, depending on the
overall size of the panel.
Standard ENVEL LED Light Panels are for indoor use only.

Mounting LED Light Panels
Mirror Clips
1. The preferred method of mounting ENVEL LED
light panels is a framing system which will
completely capture the edges of the LED Panel,
the ENVE high-efficiency diffuser and any
additional Envelex finishes.
2. It is required that a little bit of space (1/4”) be left
between the panels and wall for heat dissipation.
3. ENVEL LED light panels can be mounted by
using Mirror Clips, Z Clips, or simply screw
mounting with pre-drilled holes in the panel.
Make sure the panels are secured to prevent
damage.
(Mounting accessories are not
provided unless specifically contracted.)
Z Clips
4. White optical reflective film on reverse of panel is
NOT intended to support the weight of the panel
with contact or adhesive tapes.
5. When screw mounting the ENVEL LED light
panel drill holes a minimum of 1” from the LED
lights and heat sinks.
Screw Mount with Pre-Drilled Holes
6. ENVEL LED light panels may deform (deflect)
due to gravity if not correctly supported with
mounting products.

Step 2 - Please select one from below:
 Option #1
Power cord exits from the back.
 Option #2
Power cord exit is recessed.

Power Cord Exit Options
Standard locations: Please choose 1 or 2 wire exit(s) from below
If wattage is < 50W = 1 wire / If wattage is <50W = 2 wires.
Please note that it is recommended that wire exits NOT be on the same side as the LED electrical
components which will run along the edge of one, two or four sides as this will result in a portion of the
edge being dark. For instance, if the LED component were to run along the top and exit at location #3 of
the illustration above the top corner would be dark. To have the complete top edge light the wire exit
would need to be at location #4.
When there are LED electrical components along all four edges the wire exits must be from the back of
the panel.
