Financial & Experience Requirements: $500,000 Net Worth $100,000 Liquid Assets A qualified franchisee should have either business ownership and/or management experience in a restaurant or retail arena. How much will I pay for franchise fees, royalties, and marketing? Initial Franchise Fee = $50,000 Monthly Royalties = 4% of Gross Sales Marketing = 3% of Gross Sales How long does it take to get approved as a franchisee? Franchisee approval usually takes a few weeks. Approval of a franchise location usually takes 2-3 more weeks once the site has been identified. How long will I have to build my restaurant? Generally, once your area has been approved and you have signed a Franchise Agreement, you have one year to open your restaurant. Who will build out my restaurant? You are responsible for the construction of your restaurant. However, PieWorks has a Construction Manager who will help facilitate the initial build out. PieWorks also provides you with construction and design plans, equipment recommendations, etc. - all designed to make the process as pain free as possible. What kind of training does PieWorks offer? You and/or your operator are required to attend a PieWorks training program before your restaurant opens. Our training program take anywhere from 3 – 6 weeks. Your training will be conducted in a certified training restaurant. PieWorks will pay for the cost of your training, however, you will be responsible for all other costs such as travel, food, and lodging for your operations team. What other support can I expect from Pieworks? We will provide you with both marketing and purchasing support. Our list of approved food vendors gives your single restaurant the purchasing power of a multi-unit restaurant facility. We also provide continuing quality assurance reviews that will help insure that your restaurant stays in compliance with PieWorks operating standards.
