Videotek® ADCA12C31 Analog Clock Display The Videotek® ADC-A12C31 is a precision analog clock containing a stepper motor drive and advanced, microprocessor-controlled electronics to provide an accurate delivery of time. The clock is designed with a powder-coated steel case for wall mount applications (mounting bracket supplied). The ADC-A12C31 supports LTC using SMPTE timecode. Clear labeling and an internal, LED-lit face make this clock readable from long distances. Standard power connection and BNC connection for the LTC are provided. Features Battery backup retains time during loss of power or reference Self-correcting hands once power and/or timecode reference is established and after loss of power and/or timecode reference and DST changes Time zone offsets (to one second resolution) DST (Daylight Savings Time) configuration TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator) for ± 1 minute per year accuracy when no reference available (free running) All configuration settings retained in non-volatile flash memory Second hand with sweep or step option Status LED on clock face, located at the 6 o’clock position Microprocessor-controlled stepper motor for reliable, accurate and quiet operation Universal AC input voltage and frequency Fully configurable via USB interface with supplied ADC-SET software -11.5 to 12 hour time zone offsets in 30-minute increments Self-correcting to non-drop frame timecode SMPTE, EBU and IRIG B (modulated and unmodulated) timecode support Specifications Specifications and designs are subject to change without notice INPUT (TIMECODE) Type Longitudinal/Linear, forward running Formats SMPTE 24 (Film), 25 (EBU) or 30 f/s non-drop frame IRIG-B (1) 1 kHz amplitude modulated, 3:1 modulation ratio IRIG-B (0) dc offset/level shifted/unmodulated/pulse width modulated/TTL level Nominal Level 1.5 V pk-pk (0 dB/600) Level Range 0.175 to 12 V pk-pk (-15 to 20 dBV) Impedance >100 k ohms Connector BNC female, single-ended, unbalanced Center Pin Timecode In Outer Conductor Timecode Return COMMUNICATIONS – I/O USB B type connect Format v1.1 1 866 4 IMAGINE http://www.imaginecommunications.com/products/networking/test-and-measurement/adc-a12c31 © Imagine Communications Proprietary and Confidential Videotek® ADC-A12C31 Page 1 of 2 POWER REQUIREMENTS AC Input Voltage 90 to 265 VAC AC Input Frequency 47 to 63 Hz Power Consumption <7.5 W Input Connector IEC Power cord North American Power cord options available for UK, Europe, and Australia INTERNAL BATTERY CIRCUIT Rechargeable 17 mAh Manganese Lithium coin cell (Panasonic ML1220) and recharging circuit require no maintenance and retain TCXO and RTC (real-time clock) for two weeks (minimum holdover) without applied external power.
