6U 20W Solar Panel
The 6U Solar Panel provides simple power generation for 6U CubeSats
and microsats. Panels are pre‐wired in 2 separate strings, and can be
configured for independent or combined output. Additionally, each
panel comes with an integrated 1k RTD temperature sensor and
integrated photodiode sun sensor. The panels require no input power
and are designed to minimize cell temperatures.
The panels are supported by Andrews’ CORTEX 130 Electrical Power
System, which accepts up to three strings of solar panel inputs. Wired
in pairs, a single CORTEX 130 EPS card supports up to six 6U panels or
3 independent strings.
Custom panel configurations and harnesses can be designed and
fabricated upon request, inquiries are welcome.
