1 GHz Surge Protected Ground Block

1 GHz Surge Protected Ground Block
Features
•Pressure forged brass with nickel plating. Brass is a material recommended by
the N.E.C. that is galvanically compatible to interface with ground wire (copper)
and “F” connectors (brass)
•Unique split bolt type ground (bond) clamp, which seizes without damaging the
ground wire
•Ground surface contact of greater than .400”
•Patented 4-sided diamond shaped contact that exerts 250 grams of pressure
and will accommodate all types of cable center conductors from 0.025 - 0.042
in, (based on SCTE 01-2006) without damaging the center contact
•Robust surge withstand capability, Meets IEEE C62-41-B3 combination wave
surge protection
SVGBSP
1 GHz Surge Protected Ground Block
•Certified to meet ANSI/SCTE 81-2007 specifications
•Extended bandwidth for higher frequency applications
•UL Approved
