Self-adhesive membrane is a cold applied self-adhesive sheet membrane
comprising of a polymer modified bitumen layer internally reinforced with
polyester, bonded on to an outer surface of cross laminated polyethylene film.
The polymer bitumen adhesive layer is protected on the underside by a silicone
release paper which is removed just prior to the application of self-adhesive
membrane to the tack coat primed substrate. The applied membrane is then
immediately protected from UV light and from mechanical damage during
subsequent back filling by the application of Protection Board, or a sand/ cement
screed.

Areas of use:
Self adhesive is an ideal membrane for damp-proofing, foundations, below grade
walls, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, concrete and polystyrene substrates, decks
and balconies, beneath shower pans and in split slab Constructions.
Liquid membrane waterproofing:
Liquid membrane is one or two component bituminous rubber emulsion with
special hydraulically hardening fillers.
Areas of use:
Liquid waterproofing is an ideal membrane for Internal wet areas, below tile
waterproofing, decks and balconies, podiums, trafficable decks, pipe entries.
Cementitious waterproofing:
Flexible cementitious waterproofing membranes comprise a mix of dry cement
and sand, and liquid latex. The materials are mixed on construction sites
resulting in a relatively thin, cementitious liquid that can be applied by brush or
roller onto different substrates.

Areas of use:
Cementitious waterproofing system is designed for waterproofing concrete
against water pressure in wide variety of structures such as; sewage treatment
and water treatment plants, water tanks, concrete pipes, manholes, potable
water retaining structures, internal basement waterproofing and drainage
culverts.
Crystalline waterproofing:
Crystalline is a waterproofing cementitious admixture, which integral two parts of
concrete to form a crystallization process. It will react with water, a non-soluble
crystalline will then be generated throughout the capillary voids in the concrete. The
crystalline is highly resistant to water and it performs well even under extreme
conditions such as pressure or aggressive chemicals.
Areas of use:
Crystalline waterproofing is useful for ground beams floors, water storage structures,
underground retaining walls, foundations and basements, roof slabs, roof gardens,

Torch applied bituminous waterproofing:
Bitumen technology has proven by far to be the most reliable technology in the
waterproofing industry. Bitumen membranes are rubberized asphalt, modified plastomer
or elastomer bitumen. Most waterproofing membranes are made with SBS modified

injection is used exclusively for the repair of poured concrete foundation cracks,
for the structural repair of same, to fix basement leaks, and to prevent poured
concrete foundation cracks from leaking in the future. When done properly by a
trained injection technician, this type of concrete crack repair does not fail.
Epoxy Injection resin is a system for welding cracks back together. This welding
restores the original strength of concrete and restore the structure. In other
words under most conditions it makes the concrete as good as new, this is due
to epoxy's significant bond strength. With an epoxy injection you accomplish
several objectives at the same time: you are waterproofing your basement, you
are structurally repairing a foundation crack, and you are preventing the
possibility of a future basement leak from the repaired crack. It creates an
impervious seal to air, water, chemicals, debris, and other contamination. The
epoxy crack injection resin system shall be low viscosity. Epoxy resin, when
injected the resin shall form a permanent bond and seal in both dry and damp
conditions.
Areas of use:
Civil engineers commonly recommend epoxy crack injection for the structural repair of
cracked concrete in applications such as highway overpasses, overhead concrete

Polyurethane crack Injection:
Polyurethane injection (sometimes referred to as urethane injection) is arguably
the most common type of wet crack injection used for repairing a basement leak
and water stopping generally, due to its versatility. It is used exclusively for
stopping leaks in poured concrete foundation walls and structures. PU resin is
used for injecting into cracks in concrete or masonry, either wet or dry to form
an elastic seal. Polyurethane system is low viscosity and reacts to form a tough,
slightly flexible and impermeable barrier in both dry and damp conditions. PU
has a good adhesion to concrete and masonry and when injected into cracks it
allows some movement without loss of bond. The flexible, low viscosity,
polyurethane, crack injection resin system shall be solvent-free liquid
polyurethane. .
Areas of use:
Polyurethane crack injection is commonly used to arrest leaks in concrete
structures, basements, slabs, retaining walls, water retaining structures,
portable water tanks and all kind of leaking cracks in concrete/masonry
structure.
Turbo Seal Injection:
Turbo seal Injection system is a single component, highly elastomeric polymer
rubber infused with special adhesives. Turbo-Seal U is used to repair water leaks
in below grade structures. Due to its superior flexibility, adhesiveness and selfsealing characteristics, Turbo-Seal is ideally suited for repairing and restoring

Epoxy Coating:
Epoxy coatings are generally packaged in two parts that are mixed prior to
application. The two parts consist of an epoxy resin which is cross-linked with a
co-reactant or hardener. Epoxy coatings are formulated based upon the
performance requirements for the end product. When properly catalyzed and
applied, epoxies produce a hard, chemical and solvent resistant finish. It is the
specific selection and combination of the epoxy component and the hardener
component that determines the final characteristics and suitability of the epoxy
coating for a given environment.
Area of Use:
Epoxy Coating are typically used on concrete and steel to give resistance to
water, alkali and acids.

Anti-Carbonation:
Anti-Carbonation coating has excellent adhesion to the substrate and cures to
form a flexible film that allows the surface to breathe and acts as carbon dioxide
barrier thus protecting the concrete in aggressive weather conditions. Allows the
walls to breathe still remaining waterproof. Anti-Carbonation coating allows
water and vapor to transfer from inside the concrete to outside the concrete
without any crack or failure in the coating. At the same time it does not allow
water or vapor to penetrate the concrete structure. The elastomeric nature of
this coating ensures good crack bridging properties, in case of structural
movement.
Areas of Use:
New and existing concrete and masonry structures require protection from
Water, Carbon Dioxide, Sulphur Dioxide, Oxides of Nitrogen, Chlorides, Sulphate

Polyurethane Coating:
Polyurethane is tough finish, suitable for floors, that is fairly easy to apply. It is
available in oil and water based varieties, polyurethane is great for protecting
your floor against stains, damage, chemicals, oils, and wear. It is light
reflective, easy to clean, and long lasting. One of the advantage of polyurethane
over epoxy is that it is U.V. stable. This means that it won’t yellow like epoxy
does when exposed to small amounts of sunlight over a period of time. The
surface of polyurethane is not as hard as epoxy but it is much more scratch
resistant, can tolerate larger temperature swings, and handles humidity much
better. It is also available in different finishes from satin to very glossy.
Areas of use:
Polyurethane Coating Protects and transforms floors with an attractive, hard
wearing finish. Ideal for most surfaces including wood, concrete, cement, metal
and brickwork.
Concrete Floor Self Leveling:
Self-leveling overlay systems for concrete floors offer numerous advantages.
They can correct uneven floors, repair damaged concrete, and provide a smooth
and durable new surface for decorative treatments. These flow able polymermodified toppings have the ability to self level without troweling, making them a
quick solution for smoothing and leveling worn or uneven concrete. The epoxy
formula will not shrink as it dries and is non-flammable. Patched areas
withstands harsh chemicals and heavy traffic.In many cases, self-leveling
toppings serve a purely utilitarian purpose, such as correcting uneven or
damaged floors or serving as an underlayment for tile, carpet, or other floor

Poly sulfide Sealant:
Polysulfide liquid polymer sealant which is mercaptan terminated, long chain

Joint Sealants…
Areas of use:
Typical applications include swimming pools, fountains, cooling towers, fuel and
chemical storage tanks, wastewater treatment and petrochemical plants.
Polyurethane sealant:
Polyurethane is an organic compound with particularly good moisture and
corrosion resistance characteristics. Polyurethane sealant is useful in both
industrial and commercial applications. Additionally, polyurethane is often used
as a heavy-duty adhesive, as well as a coating. A polyurethane sealant may be
pressed, layered, sprayed, or brushed onto joints, but the most common
method of application is with a caulk gun. The typical polyurethane sealant is
hydrocarbon-based. With the advances in water-based polyurethane technology,
however, effective water-based, or latex, sealants and coatings are now
available. These products are noted for their low-odor, low-variable organic
compound (VOC) content, and ease of application and cleanup.

Typical Use of Polyurethane Sealant includes expansion and construction joints,

Silicon Sealant provides a waterproof sealant. It endures extreme temperatures.

projects. Silicone rubbers are often one- or two-part polymers, and may contain
fillers to improve properties or reduce cost. Silicone rubber is generally nonreactive, stable, and resistant to extreme environments and temperatures from
°C to +300 °C while still maintaining its useful properties.

Quality Assurance for Administrative Procedures
The key element for project quality assurance is the on-site project staff
led by the Project Manager. Attainment of project administrative quality
requirements, however, is accomplished by and is the responsibility of all
project personnel throughout the life of the project.
QA/ QC Plan
The following outlines will be used by the site Project Staff as our QA/QC
plan to assure compliance with the administrative procedures quality
requirement for the project:

 Control of the receiving and storage areas.
 Establishment of requirements for site receiving, storage,
transportation, handling, riggings, hoisting and identification of all
materials.

 Enhancing the quality improvement by conducting random tests, reevaluating, retraining and connately educating the employees with

INTRODUCTION

and preventing accidents in work area which may result in serious injury or even

Supervision and Safety Management should go hand in hand. Accidents cost
money and time resulting in less profits and lowers quantity.
Safety Manual Objective is to reduce the unsafe acts and conditions to reduce
the number of accidents and keep the workforce healthy.
Project Manager - Implement and direct the Safety Program for the projects to
which assigned. The Project Manager is responsible for the Safety Program’s
success at the project site.
Project Engineer - The Project Superintendent is responsible for the Safety
Program’s implementation at the actual job site. Supervises the employees on
safe procedures.
General Foreman -Assists Project Superintendent in implementing and directing
a Safety Program for the project to which assigned.

Whether you work in an office, workshop, or on site the following safety
rules will apply:
