There are one or two parts to the audition, singing and/or speaking. You may choose any song in the score. The CD available with the script includes accompaniments for the primary solo and chorus music. If auditioning with a song not in this musical, the singer must provide his/her own accompaniment. Songs do not need to be memorized. Guitar players should prepare a short song that demonstrates their ability. The speaking audition will be chosen from a characterʼs dialogue.
