Provides medical assistance to people in rural Russia
that have little or no access to medical care. We also
have programs in and around Moscow with homeless
children, soup kitchens, and truck drivers. Also, medical
help for orphanages, schools, hospitals, clinics, private
homes, prisons, government agencies, armed forces,
truck stops, plus to the Nenets who have lived on the
Tundra in teepees for over 9,000 years.
Any church can plan a Mission Trip of one week, from
Saturday to Saturday and join the brothers and sisters
of the Presbyterian Church of Manaus to offer medical,
dental, social and spiritual assistance to the people
whom otherwise would be forgotten. The Presbyterian
Church of Manaus has a number of Medical boats and
programs year round. The Church of Manaus has
trained groups of professionals, some of them as
volunteers, to assist the people as physicians, dentists,
lab technicians,
pharmacists, social workers, teachers and
evangelists. As soon as the boat docks on the
riverbank, people immediately come around bringing
their children and their sick people to be seen by the
doctor. While the health team does that, others will go
on land, visiting the houses,
helping them with agricultural matters as well as
hygiene orientation.

AIM is a charitable medical and dental ministry
that solicits health professionals to provide
volunteer care to needy international students
and to the poor around the world. The desire of
Ambassador International Ministries is to serve
all international students in the Dallas/Ft. Worth
area who request help with their basic medical
needs. AIM not only assists poor and un-insured
international students with their medical needs,
we present the good news of Jesus Christ to
them and maintain a discipleship program for
those who become Christians. We also work
with pastors of local churches to meet the needs
of the poor in their communities. Fixed and
mobile clinics are staffed by volunteer medical
personnel and brought to your local
neighborhood.
AJWS helps to alleviate poverty, hunger and
disease among the people of the world
regardless of race, religion or nationality. Health
accessibility, education and training are at the
heart of AJWS' programs. In remote rural areas
local trainers educate women and girls about
preventive and reproductive health, family
planning and nutrition. AJWS project partners
believe that healthcare is a human right
regardless of race, religion or nationality.

The Canvasback catamaran was uniquely
designed to deliver free medical, dental and
eye care to remote islands accessible only by
sea. Teams of specialists fly in to provide
training, consultation and surgeries in hospitals
where such services are unavailable.
Specialties include ophthalmology, orthopedics,
E.N.T., ob-gyn, and urology. The ship travels
from island to island providing health clinics
and educational meetings for the people.
Clinics are conducted Monday through Friday
on shore at dispensaries and in various
community meeting places. Weekends are
reserved for worship, rest, recreation and
fellowship with the island people.
The newly completed medical clinic enables
teams of physicians, surgeons, dentists, nurses
and other healthcare workers to provide ongoing Christ-centered medical and dental care to
the impoverished peoples in the region of
Barahona, Dominican Republic. The facility has
two operating rooms as well as a procedure

Society is to provide opportunities for medical,
dental and other health care professionals, their
families and associates to serve Christ, to share
Christ and to grow in Christ. This translates into
the three-fold purpose of ministering physically
and spiritually to needy people, and ministering
to the spiritual needs of their teams.
We are dedicated to providing affordable (if not

The Episcopal Medical Missions Foundation
supports the medical mission stations of the
Episcopal Church in Honduras, Jamaica, Haiti,
the Dominican Republic, Nigeria, and Uganda. A
typical team is organized by one of the Episcopal
churches in the U.S. and is composed of six
physicians (generalists and pediatricians), four
dentists and their assistants, five nurses, two
pharmacists, two priests, and four interpreters.
They visit most of the villages during a one week
stay and provide medical and dental care that is
all most of the villagers ever receive. They
particularly are thankful for the many
medications that they receive, drugs that are
beyond the means of most of them.
The Evangelical Free Church Mission is the
international ministry of the Evangelical Free
Church of America. It exists to glorify God
through making disciples of Jesus Christ with the
goal of launching church-planting movements
internationally. EFCM also works in the field
providing medical and educational services.

Faith in Practice medical and dental teams travel
to Antigua. Guatemala is the base for all the
teams. All teams volunteer their services for a
week usually traveling from the US on Saturday
and returning on Saturday. Teams are divided
into health providers who stay in Antigua and
work at the hospital and those who travel to sites
within the country to provide family practice
medicine and dentistry. Medical and dental
professionals working at the Hermano Pedro
Hospital and Orphanage for the poor bring all the
supplies they expect to use for performing
surgery and post –operative care. On Sunday,
all surgery candidates are seen, reviewed, and a
surgical schedule is prepared. The remainder of
the week is spent in surgery at the hospital.

The people of the Amazon region have
staggering needs, and PAZ seeks to minister to
the whole person—spirit mind and body. Although
the mission focuses on church planting, wherever
the ministers go to start churches and spread the
Word, they encounter medical, social and

the spiritual need of the people. PAZ attempts to

SIM (Serving In Mission) is a worldwide family of
interdenominational believers dedicated to
reaching other people with the good news of
Jesus Christ. Their aim in meeting health and
medical needs is to demonstrate the compassion
of Christ in word and deed. They aim to make
disciples who also share His love as servant
leaders in the context of their own communities.
TEAM is an international, cross-cultural mission.
Their sole purpose is to help establish and grow
the Church virtually anywhere and everywhere.
North Americans take for granted antiseptic
hospitals with high-tech equipment and a well
trained staff. But the majority of the world's people
have grossly inferior health care-or none at all.
TEAM missionaries are working in some of
the most desperately needy places providing
very much needed healthcare services.

This organization is in the need of doctors,
nurses, dentists, medics, optometrist and med
students for short term mission trips. In 1996
Wings of Morning was formed. It is a non-profit,
non-denominational, Christian medical, dental,
evangelical organization to continue this work in
the Caribbean, Central and South America, and
the Pacific.
World Gospel Mission is committed to making
Christ known to all people and proclaiming the
message of scriptural holiness to the ends of the
earth. Missionary Volunteer Partners are individuals
(30 years of age or older) and/or married couples or
teams who want to use their specific training and
experience to lend a hand on the mission field.
MVPs depart for special trips throughout the year
as each person’s experience is tailored to his or
her timetable and expertise.
They are involved in ministries of disciple making,
leadership formation, heath and education,
agriculture and Christian development—in
partnership with Christian colleagues in other
missionary agencies and national church bodies.

YUGO's Ensenada Outreach Ministry allows
groups more flexibility in creating their own
missions experience. There are a variety of
outreach ministries to participate in, including
children's ministry (VBS), breakfast programs,
home building, hosting medical/dental clinics and
building chicken coops. This program is great for
those who have been coming to Mexico for a
number of years or who are coming for the first
time. Because Ensenada is located further
south, you will have opportunities to meet and
work with one of Mexico's indigenous people
groups, the Mixteco Indians. Although no training
program is offered, there is an option to purchase
our youth outreach training program as well as
Spanish tracts (please contact our main office).
