Central New Mexico Community College Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems with Concentration and New Mexico State University Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology Transfer Agreement Fall 2015 – Summer 2018 This agreement was developed to serve as a tool that illustrates the academic pathway from CNM to NMSU. Completion of the listed coursework within this agreement will earn student an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems with Concentration and directly apply his/her credit hours to NMSU’s Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology. In addition, students may also choose to complete courses from the “Additional Coursework” section. Courses listed in the “Additional Coursework” section are NMSU B.I.C.T. program requirement with course equivalents offered at CNM. Completion of the A.A.S. coursework and “Additional Coursework” section will satisfy NMSU’s B.I.C.T. coursework admission requirements. Upon transfer, students will be required to complete 6 credit hours of upper division “Viewing a Wider World” requirements and 42 credit hours of Information and Communication Technology courses. The 42 + 6 credit hours will fulfill the 48 upper division credit hours required for the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology.
