Book to be published:
The thesis entitled ‘Reflections of Vedic Sacrifice in Ancient India’ is accepted for
publication by Aryan Books International, New Delhi. This is a text based research
which covers the Rāmāya a, Mahābhārata, Mahāpurā a-s, Classical Sanskrit dramas
17 and Mahākāvya-s. The work discusses the Vedic sacrifices occurring in these texts and
attempts to evaluate as to how true these references are to the original sacrifices
documented in the Saḿhitās, Brāhma as and the Śrautasūtras. It will be published with
the title: Epics and Mahapuranas on Vedic Sacrifice. At present, the first draft of the
book has been sent to the publisher.
