Miniature circuit breakers
PS/SS Auxiliary signal switch for ETIMAT11
A device which can either be set up as an auxiliary switch or a signal switch; depending on
the setting selected, this device may be used for remote indication of the current switching
status of a switching device in the type series ETIMAT11 MCB.
Auxiliary switch = contact position indication
Signal switch = indication device tripped on fault occurrence
This switch may be used as a potential-free break/make or break/change-over contact.
Even in an assembly, all terminals are easily accessible from above.
Installation and operation:
This switch is mounted together with the switching device on the support rail. If required,
therefore, both may be removed together from the assembly and replaced.
Before fitting, the universal auxiliary switch will be set to the desired function auxiliary
switch or signal switch by turning the adjusting-screw, marked by an appropriate label
(fig.1)
On the relevant switching device, an aperture for the tripping pin is provided; this
aperture is broken out (fig. 2)

Connection to the switching device is effected by two retaining clamps, operation is
effected via the tripping pin or the connecting piece to the toggle switch (fig. 3)
For test purposes, the universal auxiliary switch (in assembled condition) may be operated
without actuation of the switching device. To this end, the connecting pin to the protective
switching device toggle is withdrawn; then, using a small screwdriver, activate the function
TEST of the auxiliary switch (fig.4)

ETIMAT11 RC - Remote control
ETIMAT11 RC is a miniature circuit breaker with remote control mechanism.

PS/SS E11 is an auxiliary switch used for remote signalling of the MCB to which it is fixed.
PS/SS E11 may also be fixed later of the state. Clamps are safe to touch. External dimensions comply
with MCB, built-in width is 0,5 module (9 mm). During fitting, the MCB must be switched off.

Residual current circuit breakers EFI are used for protection against indirect touching of parts under voltage, for
prevention of lasting voltage on earthed parts which should appear because of a defect in the electrical installation
and for protection against direct contacts of parts under voltage in case of I∆n≤30mA. Residual current circuit breakers
can be used in TN-S, TN-C, TT and IT network systems or with other words in all systems where neutral and protective
conductor are separated (VDE 0100 Part 410).
Types - Our programme comprises residual current circuit breakers which are sensitive to alternating residual current
(AC-type) and residual current circuit breakers which are sensitive to alternating and pulsating direct current (A-type).

Accessories for residual current circuit breakers EFI (16 - 80 A)
The PS EFI is fixed to EFI series switches. The width of the device is 9 mm, other dimensions are in compliance with EFI
switches. The auxiliary switch PS EFI is used for the remote signalling of the state of contact’s condition (close/open) of
EFI switches. During fitting, the EFI must be switched off.
