Sign up for Critical Alert!
CPCC's All Hazards Emergency Response System now includes emergency text messages and
automated phone calls to alert you in the event of an emergency on campus. This system is an
important part of our response to emergency or crisis situations, but we need your help to make it
work. For more information or to register your phone number, visit Critical Alert!
Netbooks Available
The Central Learning Resource Center (Library) currently has netbooks available for student checkout. The netbooks can be used by any currently enrolled student. A picture ID must be presented
upon check-out. Right now, the check-out period is for two (2) hours per day. Due to the
anticipated high use of these netbooks, we will not be able to extend check-out privileges beyond
this timeframe. More netbooks will be coming to the other campus libraries soon for student
check-out there.
Students Enjoy $5 Tickets to All CPCC Theatre Productions
CPCC students pay just $5 for admission to any CPCC Theatre production during the upcoming
2010-2011 season. Show your CPCC ID at the Box Office window to receive your discount. The
first show of the season is:
"I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change"
September 24 at 8 p.m.; Sept. 25 at 8 p.m.; September 26 at 2:30 p.m.; October 1 at 8 p.m.;
October 2 at 8 p.m.; and October 3 at 2:30 p.m.
Pease Auditorium
"I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change" celebrates the mating game and takes on the truths and
myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as "the relationship." "I Love You, You’re
Perfect, Now Change" is a hilarious revue that pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to
those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask,
"Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"
The show has been described as a Saturday Night Live style musical revue about dating,
engagement and marriage. If you are looking for Mr. Right or trying to become Mr. Right, "I Love
You, You’re Perfect, Now Change" is the perfect place to get all the tips you need for happily ever
after.

students receive academic credit either as an elective or as a required class.
Co-op is available in more than 50 programs at CPCC. To learn more about Co-op, go to
http://www.cpcc.edu/cooperative_education.
