The Automatic Fire Pump program from Chubb
Services Corporation is a comprehensive, one-day
seminar that provides working knowledge of automatic
fire pumps, pump drivers and controllers, as well as
illustrates the fundamentals of a fire pump testing and
maintenance program.
The following topics are included in this program.
• Perform annual fire pump test as specified by NFPA 25
AUTOMATIC FIRE PUMPS
• Test and verify fire pump performance using a digital
voltmeter and ammeter
All material in this
seminar adheres to
NFPA 20, Standard
for the Installation of
Stationary Pumps for
Fire Protection.
AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT
Chubb’s instructors
are highly-trained
risk engineers, each with decades of loss prevention
and fire protection experience. They are Professional
Engineers in Fire Protection or Certified Fire Protection
Specialists, and members of the National Fire
Protection Association.

The seminar material is delivered through 6.5 contact
hours of lecture instruction, demonstrations, technical
exercises, group discussions and hands-on activities.
The highly interactive course design encourages
participants to discuss real problems with our
instructors, who use the Loss Control Training Center
equipment to help determine practical solutions that
attendees can apply to their facilities.
Courses run from 8:30 – 4:30 and are held in the
Fire Lab located at: 15 Mountain View Rd., Warren,
NJ, 07059.

exercises give application to loss prevention theories.
