Beam distance is defined as the distance from the device at which the light beam is 0.25 lux (0.25 lux is approximately

Peak Beam Intensity

Peak beam intensity is the maximum luminous intensity typically along the central axis of a cone of light. The value is
reported in candela and does not change with distance.
Water Resistant
Water splashed against the device from any direction shall have no harmful effects. An apparatus is used to spray
water from all directions at specified water pressure, direction, and duration as described in ANSI/IEC 60529, Section
14.2.4 for IPX4 evaluation. All test samples shall function normally immediately after the test and 30 min after the test.

Impact resistance is the degree to which a device resists damage from dropping on a solid surface. Products are
dropped with all intended additions: batteries, elastic, tethers, hand straps, etc. Each sample is dropped 6 times using
impact orientations that approximate a cube.

SOLITAIRE
®
Less than an ounce and three inches in length, the Solitaire® offers
the same precision engineering found in every Maglite.® Using only a
single AAA battery, its focusing beam is surprisingly bright for such a
small flashlight.
A spare Solitaire ® bulb is included in the tail cap along with an
Energizer® alkaline battery and a sturdy key lead which facilitates
the use of the key and light beam in the same direction. Ideal for the
handbag or suitcase.
