Utah and branch offices in Salt Lake City, Utah and in Las Vegas, Nevada (D.B.A Best
Petroleum Services) Petro West, Inc. is tactically well placed in its primary sales areas and has established a strong customer base in each of these primary markets over the course of its fifteen year existence. Additionally, we have reached out into a vast area of secondary rural markets stretching from southern Idaho and Wyoming into Colorado,
Arizona and eastern California, and have developed ongoing relationships in these areas that have significantly contributed to the total client base of the company as it has moved forward profitably in each year of operation.
PETRO WEST, INC. consists of three fully staffed offices in the areas indicated above.
Our staff currently consists of approximately 50 employees who bring a combined total of well over 350 years of technical and operational experience in the petroleum field with them. Of these, fourteen individuals serve as highly trained technicians and eleven are full time construction staff, each with multiple industry and regulatory required certifications. Our sales staff includes six staff members, while our administrative duties are handled by a proficient staff of eight persons. Along with our in-house CPA and financial manager, all other staff serve in managerial and operational capacities.
As a direct distributor for many of the leading equipment manufacturers in the petroleum industry, including Gilbarco/Veeder-Root, Ameron, Emco-Wheaton, Environ, FE Petro,
Gasboy, Goodyear, Incon, Morrison, PetroClear, PhilTite, Tuthill, Red Jacket, VeriFone,
Tidel and many others, we are able to provide competitively priced parts quickly and efficiently through our warehouse locations in Salt Lake City, Saint George, Utah, and
Las Vegas, Nevada. A fleet of up-to-date and well-stocked service vehicles and construction trailers support our company service technicians and installation crews,

Dear Bid Assessor:
Throughout the duration of the project, correspondence between Petro West and other trades, general contractors, subs, and within the company will be via email. When other means of correspondence are used for vital information, a follow up email will be required of Petro West employees to verify information and clarify direction.
Every Petro West foreman and subcontractor will be required to submit daily log reports at the end of each day detailing that day’s activities, progress, problems, labor time, etc. These daily reports will be submitted electronically at the end of each day for review by the job superintendent and project manager and as requested by the general contractor.
Each Petro West foreman and subcontractor will be required to hold daily safety tailgate meetings.
Tailgate safety meeting reports will be submitted at the end of each day with the daily log reports to the job superintendent and project manager and as requested by the general contractor.
Along with daily email and phone communication, the project manager will meet with the site superintendent at a minimum of once a week to review the schedule, progress of work, and any potential review items that may have arisen. Detailed schedules will be generated at this time for the following weeks work and will be distributed via email to designated supervisors/managers.
The project manager will stay in daily email contact with pertinent individuals from J&S Mechanical and general contractor as to the progress of the project. Weekly schedules will be provided detailing work scheduled for coming weeks, as well as general overall schedules for the duration of the project will be supplied as may be required.
All hardcopy documentation for materials, inspections, etc. received on site will be turned in to the project superintendent at the end of each day. All such documentation will be handed in to Petro West’s office weekly to be filed and/or forwarded to all necessary parties.
Members of the Petro West management staff will be available after hours via cell phone at all times to assist with critical questions pertaining to the work at the site. Primary contact for site issues will be the project superintendent followed by the project manager.
