Stand Construction – Shell Scheme Stands
The Exhibition has been sold on the basis of ‘Shell Scheme’ or ‘Space Only’ – if you are unsure of what you
have booked please contact the Organisers.
The Shell Scheme (stands ready for occupation) contractor for the event is Palexpo/SYMA. All Shell Scheme
stands are constructed out of SYMA System 30 material.
It is not possible for the fascia nameboard to be removed or to exceed the height of the shell scheme
structure (2500mm high).
Shell Scheme Stand Inclusions
 Aluminium frame structure and white shell scheme panel walling
 Fascia nameboard across open stand sides including company name in capital letters, stand number and
company logo*
 Default carpet – grey for Standard & Finished Products areas, orange for Service & Equipment area**
 100W Spotlights (1 spotlight per 3m²)***
*Company name and logo must be submitted in advance via the Palexpo Online Shop before 8 April 2016
**Carpet colour can be changed at an additional cost via the Palexpo Online Shop
***Electrical sockets are not included; if required they must be ordered through the Palexpo Online Shop
Shell Scheme Stand Considerations
You’ve booked your shell scheme stand… what next?
Order your company nameboard with logo
Submit both of these via the Palexpo Online Shop in advance by 8 April 2016, otherwise the name on your
contract will be used and no logo provided, unless additional costs are paid.
Order electrics for your stand
No electric sockets are included with the stand. The amount of electrics you require can be calculated in the
electrics section of the Palexpo Online Shop. A 500W socket is ok for a laptop, but for items such as fridges,
you will require 1kW minimum.
Order graphics for the shell scheme panels
Make sure your stand is visible and vibrant to encourage visitors to engage on your stand. Graphics can be
ordered from Palexpo Online Shop or you can bring your own and attach with double sided tape that does
not leave any residue. If you are using Palexpo to print your graphics you must supply the artwork. Choose
individual panel prints or a large seamless image to give the ‘WOW’ factor.
Order Furniture
Furniture is not included, however packages can be booked through our Sales Team
(daria.smith@informa.com) or ordered through our official contractors Adexpo.
Order catering for your stand
Catering must be ordered through Palexpo Catering via the Online Shop; they can offer bespoke quotes or
individual items.
Make sure you book any shipments well in advance
Our official contractors EFI Logistics can assist with your customs requirements for samples & ensuring your
items arrive directly on your stand. Using couriers is not recommended as you must be on your stand to
receive the goods and we cannot guarantee their delivery. If you are sending large items please consider
that you will need to order forklift services.

Shell Scheme Specification
Panel dimensions are 970mm wide x 2300mm high for individual panels, seamless graphic dimensions will
differ depending on stand size. These can be booked through the Palexpo Online Shop.
