SPECIFICATIONS:
• Low-Profile Housing, nut and hub are constructed of precision die-cast aluminum.
Standard finish is Duraplex IITM White Electrostatic Powder coat.
• CWA HID type ballast with high power factor. Capable starting temperature is -29°C
for Metal Halide & -40°C for High Pressure Sodium & Pulse Start MH.
• Prismatic glass reflector is made of durable borosilicate, with wire frame that supplies
uplight for uniform lighting of ceiling and floor. Enclosed version dust cap provides
positive mounting of reflector to ballast assembly. Thermal shock resistance provides
security against reflector breakage. Glass will not corrode or pit in common industrial
environments. Most chemical atmospheres, including those rich in acids, bases,
salts, wet gases, solvents, oils and fuels have essentially no effect on useful life of
unit.
• Tempered clear glass lens hinged and latched to reflector, equipped with factory
installed optical safety chain.
• Standard mounting with hook and cord or threaded ¼ turn hob for ¾” NPT mount.
Available with a Low Profile bracket where the ballast is mounted beside optical
assembly for unusual applications. Wall Mount Arm available to allow mounting to
virtually any vertical surface.
• Porcelain, 4 kV pulse rated, Mogul based socket prevents lamp loosening. Open
250W MH comes with specific open fixture rated lamp socket. Coated lamp sources
recommended for most Metal Halide and Pulse Start systems. Clear lamps are
recommended for 1000W Metal Halide and all High Pressure Sodium. Restricted
base Mogul socket (EX39) available for low wattage MH fixtures.
• Compatible with Wide-Lite HiLo controls.
• Comes with 3 year limited warranty.
• 'HT' High Temperature option includes mandatory painted ballast housing (white
standard, other finishes available), plus a combination of insulation sheets, ballast
heat wedge & thermal compound spread on contacting surfaces, and larger ballast
housing depending on wattage and source to meet the 65°C ambient.
