One of the most successful corrosion resistance combinations is the application of electrocoat (e-coat) as a primer and polyester powder as a top coat. Paris Equipment Manufacturing Ltd. uses an e-coat primer and a super durable polyester top coat to enhance the appearance and durability of its products. After cleaning and sealing in a 10-stage wash system, PEML’s benches and trash receptacles are immersed in an e-coat bath where electrolysis ensures that the primer is deposited in all joints and welds. This special combination of super durable powder top coat, over an e-coat primer, provides an “automotive quality” finish on its products.
