SARDAR RAJA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING ALANGULAM TECHPARK 1 TECHPARK has been inaugurated at Sardar Raja College of Engineering, Alangulam by Dr.P.Iyamperumal, Executive Director, Tamilnadu Science and Technology Centre, Chennai on 8th March 2014 to encourage applied research and technology transfer. A number of initiatives were taken to help the faculty members as well as students to identify possible areas of research. The Research Lab is therefore responsible to interact with faculty members and students. Techpark is also useful for the students to equip them other than the curriculum, to make themselves as leading technocrats. Totally 51 teams participated from ten engineering colleges. The first prize Rs.15,000/- was won by Sardar Raja College of Engineering,Alagulam. The second prize Rs.10,000 and third prize Rs.5,000/- were bagged by Sethu Institute of Technology, Aruppukottai and Sardar Raja College of Engineering, Alangulam respectively. Five consolation prizes of Rs.1000/- each were also given.
