asynchronous crosspoint architecture delivers power scaling
Green Modes that reduce power dissipation by as much as 40

cable reclocker/cable driver family featuring built-in diagnostics

Signal Conditioners and Mux/Demux Solutions

cable equalizer with integrated reclocker for higher density, lower
power broadcast video routers and switchers. The VSC3401
also adds unprecedented levels of on-chip system diagnostic
capability. Fully compliant with SMPTE standards, the VSC3401
reduces the combined equalization and reclocking function
power consumption by up to 40 percent over existing discrete
solutions. The VSC3401 includes Vitesse’s HDVScope™
embedded waveform viewing, pattern generator, and error
checker functions. These diagnostics enable system test and
make it possible to remotely monitor, pinpoint, and adjust in
real-time uncompressed SMPTE 3G-SDI 1080p and HD 1080i

An “Audio Video Bridging” network implements four protocols
developed by the IEEE 802.1 Audio Video Bridging Task Group.
The AVB-based architecture implements synchronization based
on IEEE1588v2 compliant time stamping, advanced Quality
of Service and traffic shaping for media stream reservation,
protection and admission controls using integrated 416MHz
CPU with hardware packet inspection. Vitesse offers a range of
