Position and Valuation Reporting

Futures Contracts
The Futures Contracts module provides the tools to allow the user to record and monitor contracts that are traded on a
Futures or Terminal Market. This module can be used as a standalone item or integrated with the physical contracts
and used to hedge risk.
The system allows multiple Futures Markets to be recorded and both Position and Valuation information is available via
enquiry and report options for each market and commodity traded.
The Futures contracts may be included in the profit reporting when hedged against physical
commodity contracts.

Foreign Exchange Contracts
This module is used to record details of foreign currency that is bought or sold to cover foreign currency exposures
arising from the physical contract trades.
Using the inbuilt rules for determining where a currency exposure exists, the software automatically captures the
information required to prepare the foreign exchange contracts.
A foreign exchange contract may be allocated for use against any number of physical contracts or on-costs associated
with trading.
Full inquiry and reporting options are included to assist in monitoring foreign exchange currency positions with the
ability to show the allocations against the relevant contracts or on-costs.

Letters of Credit
The Letters of Credit module provides a means of monitoring the letters of credit in use for physical commodity
contracts. The software will deal with the recording of L/Cs that the company has in place as well as any L/Cs that are
being used by the customers. This provides greater control and mitigates risk.
The physical contract(s) that the L/C applies to may be allocated against the L/C recorded within KitTM. This allows the
software to monitor usage and expiry dates with reports and inquiry options included.
