| Vol.2, Issue 6 View Online Feature Issue on Photonics Based on Two Dimensional Materials "Photonics Based on Two Dimensional Materials” (2D materials) is a rapidly advancing research field. It includes the study of light­matter interaction in 2D materials and the applications of 2D materials, such as light generation, propagation, modulation and detection. Photonics Research recently published a feature issue that highlights new results on both fundamental and applied research progress related to the optics and photonics of 2D materials.
