Youth Employment Partnership (Oakland, Ca)- Alex Colt (510) 735-4707. As the Construction
Manager my responsibilities consisted of training and supervision of all YEP clients learning
construction competencies, including participants in our Re-entry Service Learning program and
Women in Construction program. Additional responsibilities included teaching , I taught basic
construction classes and basic math at YEP. In addition, as the Construction Manager I was
responsible for supervising and staffing the team of professional Construction Site Trainers, as
well as, Managing and coordinating ongoing construction at the YEP office site, including
extensive renovation/replacement of plumbing, wiring and air systems, building out of loft office
space and other significant projects.

(single family and multi-family housing). Responsibities included responding to service request, Inspect
and evaluate units to ensure that units are made ready in a timely manner, maintain inventory of supplies
sufficient for providing service. Processes included detailed preparation, brushing oil finishes, spraying.

such as interviewing, selecting, and managing the accounts of tenants, maintaining property and
equipment, managing expenses, budgets, and income, and addressing tenants’ issues and concerns, all

in the many facets of building construction, to include Concrete, Framing, Electrical, Plumbing etc.
Lee Engineers (San Jose, CA) – Mun Lee PE support staff executing boundary surveys utilizing transits
and field instruments synthesizing, and digitizing data. Applications used but not limited to AutoCAD,
Microsoft Office Products extensively.
Carnes and Associates (Gilroy, CA) – Gary Carnes support staff, Rodman worked with surveyor as his
Rodman in the field. Office work consisted of compiling data collected in the field and incorporating it
into workable product AutoCAD software
Engineering Aide (Salinas, CA) - City of Salinas Public Works Department (Engineering:
200 Lincoln Ave. Salinas, Ca - Prepared all phases of civil engineering designs using AutoCAD and other
computer software. Developed detail designs for the construction of streets, parks, recreational facilities,
storm drains, sewer and water systems, and other public utilities as required. Assisted in the preparation
of bid specifications, field inspections, perform soil/material testing and survey work.
