Propane: •Propane/naturalgaspipingmustbeconstructedandinstalledinaccordancewithmanufacturer’srecommendations.Propane/naturalgas linesthatareroutedbeneathanMFVUmustbeconstructedwithrigidpipe.IncludespipingtoLPgenerators. •Anypropane/naturalgaslinethatpenetratesawall/partitionmustbeconstructedofrigidpiping. •Anypropane/naturalgasline/connectorthatitisnoteasilyidentifiableastoitsconstructionortypewillnotbeallowedandtheburdenof proofthatitisbeingusedaccordingtomanufacturer’srecommendationswillbeontheMFVUowner. •AllpropanetanksDOTapproved(withinre-qualificationdate)nottoexceed200lbtotalforalltanks.Paintingoftanksthatobscuretank manufacturingorqualificationinformationwillnotbeapproved. •Alltankssecurelymountedwithmetaltoexteriorofvehicle. •Rearmountedtanksatleast36”abovegroundtobottomoftank. •Noquickdisconnectsonanyexteriorpropanetanks(quickdisconnectsonchassismountedtanksmaybeallowed). •NocopperlinesconnectedtoLPGtanks. •Rubberpropanehosefromregulatortotanktobestamped“ApprovedforLPGas350psi”. •Adailypropanesystemleakcheckshouldbeperformedpriortoputtingtheunitintoserviceandafteranymovementofthevehicleandafter movement/changeoradditionofanygasfedappliance.TheseleakchecksshallbeperformedwithaULlistedflammablegasleakdetector. •Exterioremergencyshutoffsufficienttostopthesupplyfromallpropane/naturalgastanks.Requiredemergencyshutoffsign.
